Apple just announced "Describe an Extension" on Safari. A custom made, "vibe-coded", browser extension just for you. Another step towards the new AI-spreadsheet era. The knowledge and expertise within organizations is getting even more dispersed. #WWDC

Malleable AI is coming. Not one model for everyone. Not even one per user. AI that adapts in realtime to *which* version of you is active right now. Father. Executive. Board member. Volunteer. Investor. Same person but different goals, tone and what "good" looks like. Do you feel that gap today?

You can point to the ERP, the CRM, the dashboards and any other system of record. But the real work happens in a spreadsheet someone built for their own understanding. AI just created a new version of that problem. I wrote about where it leads.

Anthropic just released their latest Economic Index report, and one finding REALLY stood out about the FutureOfWork! Claude AI is being used more often for tasks requiring higher education levels AND the kicker is: there's a near-perfect correlation (r > 0.92) between the quality of prompt and the quality of AI outputs. In other words, Expertise IN -> Quality OUT. This seems to reinforce traditional seniority hierarchies and many have been worried about the impact of AI for new professionals. But I believe this thought misses a massive opportunity: What if organizations started capturing and systematizing how their best people prompt AI? You can automatically transform a junior employee's request using patterns from your senior experts' historical prompts. Suddenly the tight correlation between individual education/expertise and output quality could be broken, not at the individual level, but at the organizational level. The report already hints this is happening: API usage (where companies deploy systematized prompts) shows higher speedups than individual chat usage. Early movers are building these knowledge flywheels now.
We're publishing our 4th Anthropic Economic Index report. This version introduces "economic primitives"—simple and foundational metrics on how AI is used: task complexity, education level, purpose (work, school, personal), AI autonomy, and success rates.

Search Engines (Google, Bing, others) could crawl most websites and that's exactly what drove the need for SEO: to make YOUR website stand out among all other 'crawlable' pages. The same pattern is emerging with AI Agents. They can interact with most websites but that will drive businesses to look for ways to make theirs more agent-friendly than competitors.

The key question is then: what's your edge? Having an API strategy gave businesses competitive advantage. How are you evolving that strategy for a world of AI agents?

The only constant in AI development is that your 'cutting-edge' implementation has probably aged by the time you read this. Building solutions with swappable foundations isn't just good architecture - it's survival. Your competitive edge tomorrow depends on how easily you can embrace better models today.

Fast Fashion execs are feeling outpaced by AI model releases. 'We mastered the art of making things disposable,' sighed one insider, 'but AI companies like Deepseek are launching new models before we can even design next week's throwaway trends. They're making fast fashion look like slow craftsmanship.' /s 🤣
