🙌Very excited about the work of this Commission
Pic of last week's first meeting of the Digital Badging Commission, in partnership with @theRSAorg. We want to transform the way we recognise and reward skills in the UK - ensuring the full breadth of a person's experiences is recognised. More info at badgingcommission.org
Love this !
Our Learner of the Year, Matthew McGrotty from @mynwrc, shared his inspiring story on BBC Radio Foyle last week! 🚂📻 Catch up on BBC Sounds now: bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0020p…
Powerful stuff at #EmpSkills24 hearing from people whose lives have been transformed by skills and employment .
“At the heart of all we do is the service user”
So very important to keep this thought front of mind as the new Government begins their change agenda.
“The response to skills gaps is a collective one”
Kicking off @LearnWorkUK #EmpSkills24 with a thoughtful discussion about preparing the workforce for the future labour market with @OllyNewtonUK at the helm

I’ve been advocating a skills tax credit for years. A more positive incentive for employers rather than punitive taxation (eg levies) . It’s being discussed at #AELPNC24 . Let’s also keep talking about how to incentivise change in Government mindset on the value of skills.

Had a great day at #LT24UK particularly interesting to hear from @danielsusskind how he thinks AI is transforming work and with it mindsets around how we go about solving problems.
Our Deputy CEO @lr2050 saw a key theme at @LearnTechUK last week: The pace of change in workplaces
Equipping people with skills isn't just about keeping pace, it's about creating new ways of work that embrace 'change as the new normal'

Come on @Mark_J_Harper and @andy4wm help me out here. I’ve been stuck on the M42 tonight for 6 hours and counting. Why haven’t we been turned around? Why did it take hours for the spillage cleaning vehicles to arrive. Not impressed.
Fab day celebrating #NCFE175years . 🎂 🥂 I’m very proud of the partnership with @UfiTrust and @NCFE . We share a commitment to support innovation in assessment and I’m excited to see what ideas come forward in the next window of the Innovation Assessment Fund 💡
