LRM attended the @RTPIPlanners Wales Planning Conference yesterday. It was an insightful day, with a variety of discussions from climate change, resilience, car dependency and what should we, as planners, be aiming to leave as a legacy.

It was very interesting to hear a barrister’s view of the interrelationship between legal and planning processes, exploring the planning court system and role of a barrister.

Monmouthshire County Council Planning Committee have granted planning permission for residential development at Vinegar Hill.
Following the approval of the hybrid application in January 2022, LRM submitted a Reserved Matters application on behalf of Vistry Group in July 2022.
The approved Reserved Matters scheme comprises 70 dwellings and associated works, and relates to Phase 2 of the wider scheme which benefits from approval for 142 homes.

Fareham Borough Council has this week adopted its new Local Plan; this includes the strategic allocation at South Fareham which Hallam Land Management Limited has been promoting.
Following LRM's appointment in 2018, Owen Jones, as the lead consultant, has appeared at various examination hearing sessions on behalf of Hallam.
