I was asked by Readymag and the TDC to talk about a former TDC medal winner, and I chose Gerard Unger. I still can't believe how lucky I was to have met him, let alone have him as a teacher. readymag.com/readymag/the-fa…
It's amazing how often I still think of things I learned from him. Even though I no longer do type design, his approach and worldview stayed with me way beyond type. Thinking about him makes me both happy and sad, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share some of this.

Last week, sadly, my time working at Atlas Obscura came to an end, as I there was a round of layoffs and my job, along with many others, no longer exists in the company. I am now looking for my next role, please keep me in mind for senior brand design positions.
