This is an absolutely URGENT time-critical message to non-Christians!

I normally never retweet things with curse words in, but I just want to show you the reaction that daring to challenge Magic the Gathering brings.
I stand by my conviction it has a demonic hold over these people.

Your bigotry has nothing to do with being a Christian.
More tribal faggotry. Repent, you sinful loser.
Play a fucking card game, you bitch-ass troglodyte.

Wow! You wouldn't even think it would be an issue.
Like dungeons & dragons and Ouija boards, they're just not applicable to a Christian lifestyle.
God bless π

Stay the course Luke, the Holy Spirit will give us fear of such things. As it is written in Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Preacher said when he got older he felt he surpassed his childhood bullies in strength and education and had a lot of pride. When he found Christ he forgave them truly and healed. He mentioned Paul said heβd die for his countrymen/enemies and prayed theyβd find Christ.

A mage who has found the true way - that WOULD be a story worth telling again.
I got unfollowed on here by a long standing Christian acquaintance on here because I dared to suggest that Christians should avoid magic the gathering.
Itβs really got its claws into people.
It strikes me that most churches have their eccentricities that go beyond Scripture.
The question is whether these are non-essentials that donβt really matter or whether they infringe on the essential teachings of the Faith!

I usually preach for 40mins and can easily preach an hour. I never use PowerPoint or props and by the grace of God seem to be able to hold the attention of (most) the congregation.
We live in an age where focusing on anything for more than 20 seconds is rare so sitting in a service and listening to a deep sermon that moves and challenges us is a necessary spiritual discipline
There I was thinking the church is first and foremost about the Lord Jesus Christ!!
π¦πΊ The Church is first and foremost a community, offering the world βa different narrative of what it is to be human and how we might inhabit the earthβ, the Archbishop of York told St Georgeβs Cathedral, Perth, Western Australia, on Sunday. #ChurchNews churchtimes.co.uk/articles/2β¦
If you can spare a few $$/££ then @davidjamessims church is doing amazing work getting Bibles into peopleβs hands in the UK. And we desperately need it folks!

The church I went to today, the preacher was able to hold the attention of the church for over an hour with no props, no PowerPoint and just a Bible on the lectern.

It was great!
I have now preached through the entirety of John's gospel account, ending with a passionate evagelistic call to beleive and be saved.

Every Sunday should be Bible Sunday
Today is Bible Sunday and Rev @davidjamessims ('Tiktok Vicar') reflects on the impact giving away over 4,000 Bibles on Tiktok has had on bringing people to Jesus and to church.
