Lexington Middle

From the 2025 National Technology Student Association (TSA) Conference at National Harbor. Our @lxmsmiddle TEAMS and STEM competition students represented Lexington Middle School with pride, skill, and innovation—and brought home national recognition! Congratulations to our TEAMS team of Jacob McCue, Lucas Summy, Thomas Perretta, and Isaac Belcher for earning: 🥉 3rd Place in the Nation (and Turkey!) for the TEAMS Design and Build Challenge, where students worked collaboratively to solve an on-the-spot engineering design problem using limited materials under timed conditions. 🏅 8th Place in the Nation in the TEAMS Prepared Presentation, where they researched and delivered a formal multimedia presentation on a real-world STEM issue tied to the national theme. In addition, the same students along with Joel Roman-Diaz competed in the Junior Solar Sprint, where they designed, built, and raced solar-powered cars using engineering principles and solar energy concepts. ☀️ 7th Place in the Nation out of hundreds of teams! These achievements are a testament to the students’ dedication, teamwork, and ability to apply STEM knowledge in hands-on, competitive environments. They represented Lexington Middle School with excellence on the national stage.
