Oh dear, seems like I've got a new series to binge: Cara Hunter's DI Adam Fawley. Just read Close to Home & despite the digital pile of eArcs staring at me I only want to read book two. Police procedural with mixed media. I love it and it's perfect duvet day reading material!

June's reading round up, only a week late! 24 books and 2 x 5 star reads with a solid stack of 4 and 4.5 star reads too. Happy with what I read, a solid mix of comfort reads, eArcs and a couple off my physical TBR.

I couldn't help myself. I was going to get the UK editions of Killer on the Road and The Babysitter Lives but really really wanted the US double header. So I found an american stockist. She's a gloriously floppy paperback too!

Super thankful I got to see Sabbath at Download back in the day. A true metal star and a music legacy that will live on.

Out of spite I was determined to not like that movie. Motherfuckers got me good. Gonna have to watch part 2 now when it comes out.

Randomly put on Wicked on Sky when it was halfway through. Ive been determined not to like it because the press tour was insufferable. But it's actually pretty great!

That still doesnt mean I want a load at the universal theme parks! The aesthetic is too similar to HP. Maybe the UK park where there won't be any HP.

She arrived!! SMG is an autobuy author for me and I had been planning on holding out to get a US version as I prefer the cover...but then I saw the Waterstones edition with those sprayed edges and end papers 😍
