Reason #87 for rounding corners on your PCB: when you're using silicone sealant and aren't used to real man tools, you can use your PCB to profile and it does a much nicer job than a finger

Open invite for young people to come along to HF SSB Field Day with the Camb-Hams on 3rd/4th Sept in Cambridge. Anyone interested? The aim would be to run a mini conference (livestreamed) to try and kickstart some youth events Cost would be ~£25, accommodation is tents

Woohoo, it's alive again! No errors with those transistors replaced!! Repair video will be released on YouTube tomorrow but that's a wonderful sight and a beautiful spectrum analyser saved from landfill :D

Massive long shot but can anyone identify this transistor in the LO amplifier of an Agilent E4407B spectrum analyser? CLIP says it's an ATF-13336 but the biasing resistor are different values and the transistor marking is "P25" not "133" as expected for that part.
