The Night of the Murdered Poets refers to the secret execution on August 12, 1952, of thirteen prominent Soviet Jewish writers, poets, actors, and intellectuals in the basement of Moscow’s Lubyanka Prison. The victims, including Peretz Markish, Dovid Bergelson, Itzik Fefer, and Leyb Kvitko, were leading figures in the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee (JAC), originally established during World War II to mobilize international Jewish support for the Soviet war effort. Arrested in 1948–1949 amid a rising antizionist campaign, they were tortured and convicted in a closed military trial on fabricated charges of treason, espionage, "bourgeois nationalism," and ties to Israel and the United States. The executions, kept secret for years, effectively destroyed the remnants of Soviet Yiddish literary and cultural life.

A reckoning with antizionism is beginning.
In less than a year, with zero funding, MAAZ has helped put antizionism on the national and international agenda.
Through op-eds, protests, stickers, slogans, public campaigns, and training ordinary Jews to confront antizionism in their workplaces, campuses, schools, and communities, we've helped to build a movement across the US, Canada, and Australia.
Antizionism is now in the news every day. It's everywhere. Congresswoman Haley Stevens has publicly stated that "antizionism is a hate movement."
MAAZ is now incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with IRS tax-exempt recognition pending. Once approved, recognition will apply retroactively to the applicable effective date. We've shown what we can accomplish with zero dollars. Imagine what we can do with your support.

We watch as Israel is accused by antizionists of poisoning flour with oxycodone, creating famines, genocide, colonization, apartheid, baby-killing, each and every war crime, from the bizarre (organ thieving, skin theft), to the mundane (olive grove demolitions), neologisms like scholasticide and democide, and countless others.
How much of this is true, and how much is antizionist libel? Does it matter, when an industry exists to permanently produce a stream of popular libels? What’s going on exactly? Learn about the history of antizionism and antizionist libel.
Learn about antizionism.

The antizionist use of keffiyeh emerged as a popular symbol in the 1960s, worn by plane hijacker Yasser Arafat, and made iconic by another plane hijacker, Leila Khaled, pictured below.
Before that it was a symbol of the Great Arab Revolt and before that, a farming hat.

Jewish New York Dems launch PAC to counter antisemitism and antizionism:
"Antizionism is a form of anti-Jewish hatred, just like antisemitism. Full stop,” the FAQ section of the webpage states. 'Antizionism is a hate movement that uses the lies of ‘genocide,’ ‘apartheid,’ and ‘colonizer’ to incite hostility and violence against the Jewish community.'”
