12 weeks of volunteering @parkrunUK completed for their DoE. Including each taking a turn as Run Director delivering the main briefing to all the participants which many adults would be scared to do. They have been a credit to @S4LHSYT @LHSDofE

Days like today make every minute/ hour at the swimming pool worth it to have confident kids who can swim, snorkel and kayak.

Our Anti Racism Group has worked hard to challenge racism in all its forms. Here is our film featuring the brave children of Newark's voices and artwork. I wish this film didn't have to be made but I'm so proud of them teaching the world to be better. m.youtube.com/watch?time_con…

Many club swimmers go on to be swim teachers and lifeguards if we lose access to swimming pools like @falkirkcouncil are currently proposing we lose the next generation of swimming teachers and lifeguards too. #saveourpools

We should be prioritising fitness, activity, physical and mental health especially for our young people. @falkirkcouncil closing access to pools and leisure facilities it’s totally counter productive to that. #saveourpools falkirkherald.co.uk/news/pol…

Falkirk Council to consider closing school swimming pools and other leisure facilities to save cash

Four high school swimming pools could be the first of dozens of Falkirk Council facilities that will close or transfer out of council ownership over the next three years.
