No. 24 Sahuarita knocks off No. 22 Pueblo 48-28.
With a Rio Rico upset over Cholla, the Mustangs are the 4A Gila Region champs for the second time in three years.
It was also head coach Jake Allen’s first win over his former school.

Apple Weather says 28mph wind and gusts up to 42, but it’s definitely stronger than that. Knocking people on the sideline back. It’s insane.

2-point is successful to Mason Sandoski.
35-6, 57 seconds left in the half.
First TV pass play of the night is a touchdown from Gaines Gooch to Rowan Carter from just inside the 20.

Tombstone punted on its first drive after receiving the kickoff.
Gaines Gooch took it to the house on a 60-yard read option down the visiting sideline.

On site for No. 14 Tanque Verde (5-3, 3-0) versus No. 23 Tombstone (4-4, 3-0) in the 2A South 1 Region finale.
It is WINDY. Going to be a tough night to throw and kick.
Follow along for updates.

FINAL
Canyon del Oro 10
Tucson 3
Dorados hold off a resurgent Badgers team in the fourth quarter. CDO hands Tucson its first region loss of the year in a gritty, penalty-filled game.
The CDO secondary was lights out against Ezra Spivey and the Tucson skillers.
Tucson is finally on the board with a 25-yard FG from Waleed Al Jashami.
10-3 CDO, 8:15 left in the contest.
Zachary Neasham hit a 36-yard FG to put CDO up 10-0 at half.
A terribly messy first half. At least 10 penalties - had something like 6 penalties in an 18-play stretch across the start of the second quarter.
Tucson turned it over on its first drive.
Peyton Strang found two huge completions worth over 50 yards to get CDO in the red zone.
1-yard rush by Tai Holmes put the first points on the board. PAT good.
