We have contaminants throughout our country and at the race track - IF one has no idea where it came from- your career is forever harmed - this is so wrong- We still are stagnant at “ getting” those that abuse horses and mask harmful drugs. There just is no common sense - I’m not sure we ever figure this out but it’s egregious

Horse trainer Angel Quiroz has been charged with a Presence violation (positive test) for albuterol, a Banned Substance, from a sample collected from the horse Bonita Rough on July 10, 2026 at Fair Hill Training Center, according to the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit.
Quiroz trained multiple horses that raced Sunday at Monmouth Park and Saratoga and attracted unusual betting interest. The races are now under investigation.
