back in 2024–25, whenever I wanted to learn something with AI, i'd use a markdown file containing a long detailed prompt about my learning preferences centered around the socratic method along with my behavioral patterns and how to keep track of them.
thought i'd put this out here by creating a generalised skill, in case it's still useful to someone.

me one or two days before college exams:
>take ss of syllabus and throw it at gemini in the morning
>open youtube -> gateway smashers in one tab & neso academy in another
>switch b/w 3 tabs for an hour
>open animepahe.pw in 4th tab - "just 1 ep"
>watch 3 anyway.
>read random blogs
>now time to do some serious prepping.
>spend 30min studying
>urges to watch 4th episode
>watch 5 episodes and go to take a nap.
>have lunch, get back to studying again.
>after 30 min having urges to watch the next episode...
>get up from chair and do 5-10 min of weight training, squats and skipping.
>sit down -> browse HN, reddit, read random tech blogs
>snack time - 30 min.
>got a new project idea, search about that, what stuff one gotta learn to build it. learn the concepts (1.5 hrs)
>TIME TO DO SERIOUS EXAM PREP.
>make goals of how many ch and which topics to finish by 10pm
>achieve 20% of the goals (above listed reasons)
>it's 10 pm....feeling sleepy
>let's watch another episode...and one final another...
>goodnight, will absolutely do some serious exam prep tomorrow.
Singing is a skill you practice almost blind.
You can record yourself and listen back, but it's hard to tell exactly where you're going wrong or what to work on next.
I'm building Suzune, a singing companion that turns songs into a fun structured practice experience.
You work through a song section by section, compare your voice with the original using visual feedback, track your attempts, and gradually work toward singing the whole thing.

Today we introduce Heckler by @MercityAI
Heckler stress tests your AI agents with simulated users and shows you exactly where your agent breaks the rules you gave it.
We ran 3 agents (DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, GLM 5.3 and GPT-6 Luna) on Heckler and over 80% of chats broke a policy.

Today, we officially launched our AI Governance offering across our socials, and we’ve already been running a campaign around it for our clients.
Couldn’t have picked a better time, lwk, with half the internet seemingly getting compromised lol.
If your enterprise has been feeling the heat lately, AGH might just be the way to go.
Whether you’re worried about AI leaking sensitive company data, employees using unapproved AI tools, or AI budgets getting out of hand, this one’s for you 😼
i'd read books like these in my 10th - 12th.
then it quickly got boring - INCREDIBLY repetitive & predictable. even if it contained slowburn or character development, i found the generic "couple romance" genre too mehhhh
now whether it's a movie, anime or books - i'd choose thriller, mystery, fantasy, horror, sci-fi, slice of life -- basically anything over "couple romance".

Lots of Security incidents today, here's some practical tips for those who just wanna protect yourself:
1) UPDATE EVERYTHING - main targets are:
a) Browsers - Chrome, Safari, Firefox
b) OS: : Settings -> General -> software update; Linux: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade; Windows: I think there's a button. Do this for any remote home servers & Openclaw/hermes boxes
c) Phones: Update it all
d) Desktop apps (Slack, Cursor, Discord, etc)
2) Limit web browsing this week: Stay within walled gardens (twitter, youtube, etc); don't click random links this week. Just wait until the patches go through. Do step 1 again after a week.
3) Avoid untrusted Wifi networks until your devices are updated
4) Stay vigilant about phishing emails offering "certificate fixes" or fraud updates
5) Have an iPhone 11-16? TURN BLUETOOTH OFF for the time being until apple patches come through.
6) Code/Dev: UPDATE ALL YOUR REPOS - @charliermarsh has already updated uv 0.13.4 which reacts to the eMudra incident for uv (Python), Typesript according to Claude has equivelant. Tell your agents to go and update all your active repos to update package manager across uv, npm, bun, cargo, etc etc
What advice did I miss?

So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and Archive.org went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.
