1/4 Some existing #Bitcoin wallets have features to reduce bandwidth, but more effort in this direction is needed for 'mobile-only' computer users that currently rely on custodial web wallets.
.@remyers_ notes that bitcoin's usefulness in extreme situations depends on mobile-compatible systems with low bandwidth requirements.
As little as 2 MB per week could be enough for many users to use bitcoin as money.
