Just completed 14 day tour of Vietnam. What a great country people so happy and accommodating - great value for food and drink and commercialism is growing but not in cost terms just yet. Even managed to get 4 runs in 90+% humidity! Thinking of going just do it!

Cu Chi tunnels brought war in jungle alive as to how bad it must have been for all. Tunnel network crazy. Then onto Mekong Delta for river trip and home stay that was brilliant. All guided by the wonderful Quang Dang of @ExodusTravels Top guide and even better person!

Saigon or Ho Chi Min City - modern city great nightlife on rooftop bars. War Museum really sad and gave insight to terrible war that scarred country. Then did a wonderful moped tour with @XOTours seeing different parts of city and crazy driving on streets. Liveliest place!

Hoi An - via amazing cave in Marble Mountain, probably favourite place. Cute little town with river at heart of Old Town with lantern lighting on boats in the river at night very touristy but great experience. Also great shopping and beach close by was world class. Must go place!

Hue - old capital city by overnight train. Imperial City, incense sellers and the Moon Festival so be rude not to join in the celebrations. 3L of beer for 210,000 dong c £6! Good night out in quieter city.

Hanoi - mega chaotic with mad scooters everywhere. Brilliant old town and Train Street just amazing experience couldn’t stop smiling at the excitement a train can create. Then on to Ha Long Bay cruise that was beautiful and has a large dose of karaoke - great combo!

So many people up at 6am it’s just stretching and Tai Chi. Incredible. But oh my 90% humidity on my run with some amazing sites in Hanoi!

Italy, Brazil, Holland, Portugal, Germany all had far worst world cups than we did. France disappeared when the spotlight was on them. If Tuchel accepts mistakes in selection and tactics then maybe we will be stronger for Euros? Need a few young ones mind and maybe Rice is a CB?

I was shouting at TV about short corners giving ball back to Messi on 1v1 they were always going to Create a Good chance from them.

Parking a bus works against 10 men in Azteca against ordinary team but not against a decent team. Poor substitutions and no pace up front in last part of game. This was Gareth Southgatesqu. No bravery. They did okay but didn’t get to the next stepping stone. Fuming.

I know Bellingham is the star but Elliott Anderson was best England player. Had to step up with Rice unfit, but Anderson’s ran the show and was going strong at end. Such an important part of our structure and took responsibility - maybe he should take set pieces too?

So World Cup wise 2026 is up there with 1970 and 1990 as the best tournaments ever. It is up for grabs! It just needs a goal of immense quality and it ticks all boxes?!

Looks like we are playing Sam Allardyces Bolton from 1986 with the Reebok kit! Surely Kevin Davies doesn’t play for Panama!

Gary on Laughing tour show 11 @TEastleigh51179 with @TheRealSteveDay having a great one as support act. Fabulous start to the comedy week with a delightful crowd in Eastleigh. Second half of the show has been rejigged and is now paced better which pleases me. A pleasure. Thanks to everyone who came.

Pat Bauer put his body on the line on a number of cases for the team or for JJ. Lincoln away he was fantastic and so sorry for him at Stockport at home, thought we had seen the last of him there but to go again at Wigan and be in MoM shout. He might be right to renew a contract
