This is the Oxyrhynchus Hymn, dated to the late 200s AD. It is the earliest known Christian hymn manuscript with both lyrics and musical notation. A plain English rendering of the surviving words:

This atheist is correct about evangelicals like Joel Berry: they have the same perspective that an illegal alien or invading army might have. Christians think "the world is not my home" and therefore they become traitors.
True Christianity is not this way. In scripture Paul says if a Christian does not care for his own people then "he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."
When the Jews were captured and enslaved in Babylon God told them to "seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the prosperity thereof shall ye have prosperity.”
God’s people should seek the good of the place where they live, even when the surrounding society is not faithful to God. How much more should God's people seek the good of a Christian Nation.
Modern Christianity destroyed this and taught Christians to ignore "secular" issues and focus on the "sacred." If you really want to follow Jesus, you need to be a pastor or a missionary. If you become a dentist or politician then you are a lesser Christian because your concern is on the physical and not the spiritual.
That is all bunk. Every last bit of the physical world is inextricably entangled with the spiritual. A Christian dentist is not only secular labor. The Holy Ghost infuses a Christian's work so that dentistry, politics, and every other endeavor is sacred.
The Christian Nation is a holy people, set apart from the world of chaos and despair. The Christian must pray, love, fight, and die for such a nation.
It is not a Christian virtue to be a traitor.

But, unlike America, the kingdom of god is an idea. You haven't built it yet. You can't point to it on a map. And, while I'm sure you can think of lots of fine poetic-sounding metaphorical retorts about the kingdom of god living in the hearts of Christians everywhere, or something, you cannot actually go and live in that metaphor, because it's not a place, and it's not zoned for residential.
We have to keep the physical place we live nice, and we are doing that the way humans have always done that — by physically controlling our borders and who gets to cross them.
But you are not interested in these kinds of adult responsibilities. You are not interested in stewardship of the temporal earth, or the people on it. You have rejected this in favor of a lifestyle where your only responsibility is to love Jesus with the maximum possible intensity, and to miss no opportunity to tell everyone just how much you love him.
Frankly, if I were Jesus, which I am very much fucking not, I would find this slightly creepy, and quietly ask you to maybe tone it down just a bit.
But my concern is not the nature of your relationship with Jesus. I wouldn't even know about that relationship if you didn't insist on praying loudly on street corners.
My concern is the future of America, the future of Western Civilization, and the future of humanity, all of which are intertwined, and all of which will suffer if you are allowed to sneak open borders in the back door, concealed in a hollowed-out bible.

BREAKING: The UK has just issued security alerts for Israel, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Syria, Yemen and Palestine, warning all British nationals of sudden incoming escalation causing severe flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions.
"The context in the Middle East remains deeply unpredictable and the risk of sudden escalation is high," the new warning says.

Britain’s speech landscape has a few circles of hell that are worth note; Dante Alighieri would have blushed. It is abundantly clear why someone would operate pseudonymously in a country that is a complete stranger to the Freedom of Speech, I outline those circles of speech-hell here:
1) The Criminal law:
Our most famous, is the realm of Criminal speech – here lies the Public Order Act (s.4 onward), Communications Act & OSA offences. It carries penalties ranging from depravation of liberty (as with Connolly, Wayne O’Roarke, G Linehan), to life altering fines. It is frequently exploited by activists.
2) Regulatory & Employment law:
Below it lies the lesser known realm of professional regulation, with around 60 regulated professions - regulators hungrily venture into the private lives and out-of-work speech of professionals, looking to leverage the middle class into silence. For those not in a profession, your HR department functions as a micro-regulator - the tribunals will agree with them, and the FSU will often not touch anything besides an easy win (in terms of PR and law). The state of the law is not kind to their mission - given our lack of meaningful legislative protection - your speech is not protected. This eye of Sauron covers everything from MPs to unskilled care workers - our entire institutional landscape. A calculated political foe can use this against you to inconvenience your professional life and means of generating a living – the protocol of professional regulation, and the employment tribunal, will likely even thank them.
3) The final layer of this inferno; smear, calculated ostracism (defamation) and loss of opportunity. Often called cancel culture - but it is worse than that. A frightened woman recently reached out to me for help. She told me she and her village feel powerless.
She lives in a small village where a hotel was closed to the public and used to house asylum seekers, without any warning to the people who live there.
Since then, residents report two sexual assaults, teenage girls have been harassed, followed and chased as they get off the school bus, and one man has reportedly been standing at people's windows, taking photos inside their homes and trying to get into houses.
A few days ago, she saw him approach a group of teenage girls as they got off the bus, telling them they had to give him "favours". The girls were terrified, so she stepped in and bravely put herself between them and the man.
Days later, the same man stood outside her home making "I'm watching you" gestures, then drew his finger across his throat.
She did everything right. She reported it. So did her neighbours, with more than 50 calls to the police in half an hour about one incident.
But she told me that each time, he's simply taken back to the hotel. Nobody came to check on her after the threat, nobody updated her, and when she rang again she was told he might just need a welfare check. She's even been told to stop talking about it. When she tried to organise a community meeting online, her posts were reported and taken down.
When women and girls are frightened in their own village, and the people who speak up are made to feel like the problem, something has gone badly wrong. It is not acceptable.
The police, the Home Office and those running the hotel all have a duty to keep this community safe. When residents report the same man again and again, and the answer is to take him back to the hotel and walk away, that duty is not being met. Those in charge must be held to account, and they must be made to answer for every report that was brushed aside.
So I've been helping her and her neighbours to take action.
I've put together a full pack for them to use: a joint letter for residents to sign to their MP and Police and Crime Commissioner, a formal complaint about the police response, a letter to the school about the girls' safety, a request for a public meeting through their parish council, and forms so every incident is properly recorded. Facts, dates and reference numbers are much harder to ignore than worried phone calls.
I'm not naming the village. Yet. This is about getting results for the women and girls living there, not about putting anyone at further risk.
If something similar is happening where you live, please don't stay silent.
Keep a record, report everything, and reach out.
You don't have to do it on your own, and you are NOT powerless.
