Both. I was well thought of as a prospect but still wanted to move. Two things can be true.
As for regret - regret is a cognitively complex emotion. On the one hand it is triggered by counter factual thoughts. Essentially a fantasy. What COULD have happened and I’m not a fan of hypotheticals.
On the other hand, unlike mere disappointment, regret requires a level of personal agency, ownership… fault for a decision made. I’m a big fan of accountability.

I’m pretty sure this is my first ever day on trial at Palace. I wonder if the coach in this picture saw something in me from day one.
