One thing Iβve learned in my 20+ years of teaching is that no resource, no matter how amazing it is, can teach a child to read. The magic is in the instruction.
These decodable books from @scholasticCDA are fantastic but what makes the books decodable is the instruction BEFORE reading!
I use code packs that target the letter/sound associations found in the book before I give students the book. Therefore, there are no surprises and no guessing required! @ScholasticEdu
