This my entire interview with Daniel, and IDF Special Forces veteran who lives in Tel Aviv. You have to hear how Israelis are living, how they get through the day without focusing on their potential death, why Israel is in this to the end, and how to get three little kids from their beds to the bomb shelter in 75 seconds. It's fascinating. iheart.com/podcast/88-the-ma…

I feel a NO KINGS protest brewing! I'm sure turnout will be huge because Democrats are FIRM on No Kings, amiright?
So let me get this straight… the people of Colorado voted on an issue but Democrats are poised to ignore that and implement their will? And that’s not fascist or authoritarian? Interesting 🤔

If you’re right wing and you can’t admit liberals (not communists) are way better at art and design and boutique coffee shops and restaurants, you’re not living in reality. If you’re left wing and you can’t admit conservatives are way better at running cities and businesses and police departments, you’re not living in reality. You step inside a beautiful coffee shop in the PNW and think “man, these liberals are great at this stuff…conservatives should take notes.” Then the moment you step outside and trip over a homeless drug zombie shooting up fentanyl on the sidewalk, you think “man these liberals are terrible at this stuff…they should really take notes from conservatives” Communists make disgusting anti-beauty art, but classical liberals aren’t like that. Put the libs in charge of the coffee shops, put the conservatives in charge of city hall. This is how you get a city that is beautiful, clean, and functional. If you can’t accept that, you need to check your tribalism. We are never getting rid of each other, so figure out how we strike a balance or else the communists swoop in and take everything from us while we quarrel over stupid bullshit…which is exactly what’s happening now.
Conservatives make society functional. Liberals make society beautiful. We really do need each other.

Has anyone said the obvious that @spencerpratt needs to be @RNC chair? He's more plugged in to voters than any other Republican.

I’m in Canada. My 13 year old daughter fell in September. She has had two X-rays of her ankle since then which do not show a break but she is still in mild/moderate pain. The doctor has referred her for an MRI. Her appointment is in June 2027.

Congrats to my friend Ryan for winning a seat on the Evans Town Council! He's going to do a great job!
WE DID IT! With only a few ballots to be cured, Weld County Clerk & Recorder-elect Rudy Santos assures me there are not enough outstanding votes to overturn my current lead in these unofficial results. My sincere thanks to all of you who supported my campaign. Let's get to work!

For all the Victor Marx supporters saying I am in any way responsible for his ass kicking Tuesday, I present the following. 1. If I had that much influence, Barb Kirkmeyer would have been the nominee 2. Marx spent NOTHING on advertising leading up to election day and ended the race with 300K in the bank according to finance reports. 3. He spent more on "security", lawyers, and paying his family as consultants than he did on advertising. 4. He spit on voters by refusing to participate in debates. 5. He never wanted to win, he just wanted to build a donor list to soak more gullible people for money for his "ministry". YOU got had, you don't want to admit it, but this isn't my circus and he's not my monkey.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated by the left. Yet people still voted for it. Says a lot. Shaun Maguire wrote that last night. And he's right about something essential: a vote like that can't be explained by logic. It can only be explained by culture. I talk a lot about institutional capture. And I think a lot of people in business still haven't understood what it actually means. Institutional capture is what allows a political camp to lose every debate on the facts and still keep winning elections. Because people don't vote with spreadsheets. They vote with the stories they've been told. In school, in college, in movies, in TV shows, in the media. And for fifty years, those stories have been written by one side. So I want to speak directly to every billionaire and millionaire reading this. You know the world is going off the rails. You see it. You talk about it in private, at dinners, in group chats. But you tell yourself: this doesn't concern me. I build my company, I pay my taxes, I stay out of politics. I'll be blunt: if you keep doing that, you will be dispossessed within the next 10 to 20 years. Here's what you need to do. Play the same game. Everywhere the left runs its propaganda, we need to be there. Fund films. Produce TV series. Build media. Create a counterculture. Tell different stories: stories of builders, of responsibility, of merit, of freedom, of progress. The left understood a century ago that culture comes before politics. It invested generations in storytelling. We invested in products and left the narrative to others. That's the mistake we have to fix. Why is it urgent? Because if you don't, here's what will happen. The globalist project will come back. And the left will bring in its wealth taxes. Make no mistake: these taxes are a Trojan horse. It starts with billionaires, at a rate sold as "symbolic" and "one-time." Then the threshold drops. Then the rate rises. Then the exception becomes the rule. The end goal isn't to fund hospitals. It's to dispossess owners. And this isn't theory. Last night, California voted on a one-time 5% tax on billionaires' net worth, with a residency date set retroactively to January 1, 2026. For now, it looks headed for defeat. But only because builders decided to fight and put more than $300 million on the table. That proves two things. The threat is real. And when we play, we can win. But we can't win every battle with last-minute checks. If we don't change the culture, there will be another tax, then another, then another. And one day, we'll lose. Wake up. We have two horizons in front of us. The first: a 1984-style techno-communism. All-powerful technology controlled by a state that decides what you own, what you say and what you think. The second: a technological future where we finally apply common sense. Where abundance liberates instead of enslaves. Where those who build get to keep what they built. The choice between these two futures won't be made at the ballot box. It will be made long before that, in people's minds. And right now, they're the ones writing the stories. It's time we picked up the pen.

After DOGE, Elon came to a conclusion most people missed. He tried to reform the state from the inside. He failed. And he said it plainly: the government can't fix its own deficit. Nobody in power actually wants to cut. The machine protects itself. So he drew the only logical conclusion. If the state can't be reformed, there are only two ways this ends. Either global bankruptcy. Debt keeps compounding, interest payments eat the budget, and the system collapses under its own weight. Or robots. AI and robotics grow the economy so fast that the debt becomes manageable, and abundance makes the old fights over scarcity irrelevant. Here's the part almost nobody sees. For two centuries, capitalism has had a marketing problem. Its gains are real but slow and invisible. 2% growth a year doesn't feel like anything. Your life gets better over 30 years and you never connect it to the system that did it. Meanwhile, the left's promises feel immediate and concrete: a check, a subsidy, a benefit. That's why the left wins on promises even when it can't deliver them. Capitalism produces the wealth, socialism takes the credit. Robots break that asymmetry. When productivity doubles in a few years instead of a few decades, people will see it. Things get cheaper, services get better, opportunities appear, in real time. For the first time in history, people will connect capitalism and their rising standard of living directly, almost instantly. The causal chain becomes visible. And that changes everything politically. So there are two scenarios. Scenario one: we stay in the current inertia. No breakthrough, or a breakthrough we regulate to death. The debt wins. Living standards stagnate, then fall. A frustrated electorate turns to whoever promises the most, and that pushes toward a hard collectivist left. But collectivism fails, as it always does. And when it fails, the most organized, most disciplined collectivist force left standing isn't the old left. It's radical Islamism. Bankruptcy, then communism, then something worse. Scenario two: robots win. Abundance arrives, and it arrives visibly. The link between free enterprise and prosperity becomes obvious to everyone. And this is the key point: it becomes obvious to everyone, including the minorities the left was counting on. Because their long-term incentive is the same as everyone else's. A kid in the suburbs gains infinitely more from a booming, abundant West than from a bankrupt state handing out promises it can't keep. Abundance is the most powerful integration machine ever built. That's the Western renaissance. The West doesn't need to win the culture war by arguing. It needs to win it by delivering. And for the first time, it has the technology to deliver fast enough for people to notice. The race isn't left vs right anymore. It's robots vs bankruptcy.

The people who laughed about turning Charlie Kirk’s assassination into a Halloween costume. The people who slap conservatives - in public, in broad daylight - for having a different opinion. The people who want to force you to drive an electric car, but will tolerate/endorse vandalizing private property if you bought the “wrong” brand. The people who want to deprive women of private spaces and rob you of your livelihood if you disagree. The people who compel you to include your pronouns in your bio or risk termination. The people who think violence, looting, and destruction are okay as long as it’s in support of their own cause. Those are the folks in charge now.

This is a very rational look at why the GOP got shellacked. But it won't help him in his presidential run.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.
