The evolution of Bitcoin

BREAKING: Bitcoin developers discover a terrifying problem. People need to identify themselves. After years of research, millions in funding, and several layers of infrastructure, the solution is finally here. A centralized system to help everyone prove who they are, find each other, and coordinate their existence. Meanwhile, Bitcoin: “Here’s an address. Send the transaction.” But what about identity? What about discovery? What about coordination? What if the system collapses under its own weight? Brother, the address starts with 1. 😭 You built an entire airport because you were worried someone might have trouble finding their front door. Then you made everyone buy a ticket to use the doorbell. And now you’re worried about scaling. The funniest part is that the more people depend on your solution, the bigger the problem becomes. So naturally, the next step is to build another solution to support the first solution. Infinite infrastructure. Infinite funding. Infinite complexity. One day, someone is going to rediscover that an address is an identifier, a transaction is a message, and you don’t need to build a centralized universe around two people trying to find each other. Until then, keep the money pit burning. 😂

Bitcoin is not a hierarchical system. Bitcoin does not need permission to operate. Bitcoin is not a broken system in need of fixing to scale it can scale from day 1. I am certain Satoshi will not allow the false light bearer to dismantle his creation. All glory to legacy Bitcoin.

I began a security audit of BRC-100 and I found a potential vulnerability in BRC-100 BSV Desktop wallet which could allow the potential for a server-side request forgery. github.com/bsv-blockchain/bs…

What happens if LocalBSV ever shuts down? What happens to your BSV and BSV-21 tokens? These are questions every builder should be thinking about, and something I’ve been working on behind the scenes. My next project: The LBSX Wallet. Building for the future means thinking about what happens if you’re no longer around. Your assets, your access, your independence. That’s part of the bigger picture.

I've been a bit nervous about releasing #NexTrade; once it's out of the box, it's out. People can trade regardless. But here you go - dalais.org/nextrade/ The books will obviously be fairly quiet until it gets usage, I've put some small listings up to let people have a poke. Give it a try! Tag me here if you have any questions or issues.

Sent Bitcoin from a handheld radio today. No internet and no phone signal on the handset. A LILYGO T-Deck Pro running Meshtastic holds its own wallet. I typed an amount and pressed Enter. It signed the payment itself and sent it over LoRa radio in three small pieces. A relay at home with WiFi passed it to the network. About ten seconds later it was in my phone wallet. The key never leaves the handset. The relay cannot change or spend anything, it is only a postbox. The transaction id can go in a reply underneath, so people can check it: tx 03f57a25bf65f066a7e2e70fb7f4419222ef5f5a736669af56043c2ef6dc9dac

Ever notice BTC addresses changed to "bc1q" or 3? Bitcoin SV ($BSV) never changed the code. Every BSV address still starts with a 1—the exact same format Satoshi Nakamoto used for the Genesis address: 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa. Original format, Original vision. 🛠️

$70M Bitcoin Movie Puts Craig Wright as Satoshi Nakamoto $70 million film Bitcoin bitcoin:native has entered post-production, according to reports. The movie stars Gal Gadot, Casey Affleck, Pete Davidson and Isla Fisher. Doug Liman, known for The Bourne Identity, is directing the project. Reports suggest its storyline leans toward Craig Wright being Satoshi Nakamoto. Earlier, Wright’s claims were rejected by a U.K. court. The film could nevertheless bring the long-running controversy to mainstream audiences. Source: Proof of Money Author Terence Michael

There's a new $70 million dollar film titled, "BITCOIN," that is in postproduction. Gal Gadot, Casey Affleck, Pete Davidson, Isla Fisher. Good news and Bad News: Good news first: This will put Bitcoin front-and-center with major stars in a an actual, "big" movie (not just a documentary). Doug Liman directs. He did The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Edge of Tomorrow, and even Swingers (when I met him). He's incredible. I expect the direction (so meaning the acting) will be exceptional. Top-notch. This might be one of the first AI films but where all of the acting and performances are 100% actors. Meaning, they saved money on sets and lighting by filming in an empty warehouse, theater style. A.I. creates the environments. This would have been a $200 million+ movie otherwise. Okay now BAD NEWS: This film is the Craig Wright story! Gal Gadot plays a journalist who is hired by Pete Davidson (playing crypto investor Calvin Ayre) to investigate Casey Affleck (playing Craig Wright). If you're newer to Bitcoin and have been hiding under a rock, you may have missed that Craig Wright claimed he was Satoshi Nakamoto 🤣🤡 This went to court where the evidence was overwhelming that he defrauded and lied to the court with an abundance of forged documents. He was suing both Peter McCormack and Magnus Granath (Hodlonaut) for years, simply for claiming he was not Satoshi. In short, the court declared Craig was not Satoshi, did not write the Bitcoin white paper, and did not code any of its software. Based on the film's premise, the movie is going to skew toward Craig Wright being Satoshi. How could he not be Satoshi if a coalition of tech billionaires, governments, and crypto organizations spent hundreds of millions just to discredit him? That will be the narrative. A.I. versions of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Jack Dorsey appear in the film. So if Bitcoiners were expecting a balanced or honest portrayal of Bitcoin's beginnings... this isn't it. And I get why as a story-teller. If you set Bitcoin aside, it's a compelling narrative to focus on the misunderstood "genius" who gave the world perfect money but no one will believe him. Yet, Bitcoiners know this is flat out false. Oh... on top of all of this, the film is partially financed by... (drumroll)... Calvin Ayre! Calvin has been Craig Wright's main benefactor over the years and the most prominent supporter/promoter of Craig as Satoshi. So although a huge budget with A-list stars... it's really an indie movie made by Calvin Ayre about Craig Wright. As of this post there's no major domestic distributor outside of some international sales. I expect it to be a good film from a filmmaking aspect. But I'm bummed that the first big Bitcoin film, and with the title, "BITCOIN," might confuse newcomers on its history. There's always hope it gets other aspects of Bitcoin right (not Wright).

A growing number of people are starting to realise that Bitcoin and crypto was highjacked in the same way the banking system highjacked money that was 100% backed by precious metals. They corrupted Satoshi's original vision for Bitcoin by - making it effectively useless (super slow) - hiding this under the "store of value" propaganda - pumping the markets until the markets caught fire - using it on the Dark Web for child trafficking, moving adrenochrome and arms deals, at the very least Personally, I find trading and doing things for the sake of making money extremely boring. What I am interested in is anything that can get us away from manufactured "debt", remove the bankers from our lives, remove tax from our lives and give us true individual sovereignty i.e. freedom from tyranny. The fractional reserve banking system is horrific when you understand it. I studied Economics for five years and no-one once mentioned it! It was not until I read G. Edward Griffin's incredible book "The Creature from Jeckyl Island" that the pennies started dropping. That's why I paid attention when I was introduced to @SirToshiTV by my friend and partner in Live5DHealth @garykealy2 If you are interested in ways of us achieving freedom, watch this and make your own mind up.
