My process for ‘The Glassworker’ starting with the storyboards I drew, highlighting the action, character design and shot composition. I like to specify the keyframes for the shots I am extremely particular about. In this case, I was animating these particular shots myself.

The Glassworker is a brilliant masterpiece, on par with a Studio Ghibli production. The hand-drawn animation is stunning @manostudios It's one of the best creations to come out of Pakistan in years.

『ガラス職人』はパキスタン初の長編アニメ映画。日本のアニメの影響を監督は語るが、往年の名作劇場の雰囲気。架空世界だが現実を色濃く反映した力強い反戦映画でもある。10年を掛けたという監督の情熱が導いた丁寧な手描きの技。EDの音楽も心に響く。観られて良かった。日本公開も望まれる。#HAS

出発時はいろいろと気が重かったのだが、いざ来てみれば映画祭ならではの出会いが幾つもあって、やはり来て良かったと思った。その中でも『ガラス職人』の存在は予想以上に大きなもので、今回は同作を巡る様々なサプライズに全て攫われてしまった感がある。 #ひろしまアニメーションシーズン
