A few days ago I posted that Google's chances of leading in AI are slim. Most of you disagreed, and most of the disagreement listed what Google has.
I agree with the list. Microsoft had a list too.
I've bet on Google for years. What I see now is a company moving at Microsoft speed: renting its chips to its rivals, building AI around the results page that pays for everything, and waiting for a fire that a 17% rise in Search revenue won't light.
Google will do fine. So did Microsoft. Ask Bing.
