Today is a special day for me.
I've made $3M with my 36 startups.
Solo.
85% margin.
Bootstrapped.
It took 10 years, and I loved every second of it.
After failing as an entrepreneur for 5 years, I got a job in 2021.
That's when I discovered @levelsio's journey and decided to try again.
"If he can do it, maybe I can too?"
So I started building tiny startups and writing about it.
2021 and 2022 were quiet, but I was having fun.
Everything changed in 2023 when I launched ShipFast and made my first million.
Building something people finally paid for and enjoyed made me so happy.
My first 5 years of failures taught me not to get emotionally attached to a project, because everything goes to 0 eventually.
So I just kept shipping.
It's 2026, and I've launched 36 startups.
50% never made money.
Only 11% made decent money.
Back in 2016, when I started, I believed I would make it.
If I had known it would take 7 years of failure, I probably would never have started.
That's why I'm stupidly optimistic.
I don't think in years. I don't dream big.
I think in weeks. I build tiny projects fast. And I quit even faster.
That's how I wake up happy, enjoy the journey, and eventually build life-changing projects.
If you've been following the journey, thank you. You've given my posts a sense of purpose, which has kept me going, and I'm very grateful for this. ❤️

I just landed in Dubai 🇦🇪
From above, the desert met the sea, with a line of buildings between them.
At the immigration, they gave us back our passport with 10Gb of data.
We had lunch at the airport and they had tons of healthy options. I ate brocolis, kale, avocado, sweet potatoes, and half a chicken.
Everything is clean. People look happy.
I’m now in a 1.5hr taxi ride to Abu Dhabi where I’ll do my second HYROX race. Can’t wait!

Software is having its Uber moment.
For years, SaaS companies could keep raising prices because building an alternative was too expensive.
AI changes that.
Now anyone can enter the market with a competitive pricing. And customers can vibe code a good-enough version themselves.
It's a bit fascinating watching what feels like panic in public from Tyler.
I'm in some groups with lots of newsletter operators. Many people are fed up with Beehiiv and their price hikes.
They are switching providers, building their own, or jumping to @marclou's that he built in like 3 hours.
Tyler is doing what we call "rolling out the red carpet on the way out".
He is now asking what he can do for customers after he has jacked the price up and they are leaving.
That's the opposite of what you should be doing.
The issue I keep hearing from so many customers is that there are a ton of bells and whistles and garbage that they have no interest in using but feel like they have no choice but to pay for.
It's like your TV provider telling you how you have access to 673 channels but you're like, "that's cool... how do I get a package with the 4 I care about?".
I don't have a dog in this fight because it's too easy to simply vibe code up all the parts of Beehiiv that I'd actually need and pay a fraction of the price.
But it sure is wild to watch.

An app inspired by the Chinese daily tear-off calendar should let users tear off the pages right?

The subtle art of getting attention being yourself 👏
Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer.
And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety.
Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight.
So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖

3-figure MRR now for MailCheap.AI 🤩
Next, I’m opening up all metrics: delivery rate, avg. open rate, bounce rate, etc. Delivery is currently 99.2%, but there isn’t enough data yet to make these numbers reliable.
I’m also collecting feedback on what to build next. If you’re a paying user, drop anything you want in chat support (even if it’s crazy), and I’ll make it happen!
Congrats, you're the fastest-growing startup of the week on TrustMRR 👏🎉

This is honestly surreal.

I turned 33 today.
It was the best year of my life.
Everything aligned: work, fitness, and my personal life.
2023 was amazing too. I’ll never forget the small success of my first startup, ShipFast, after seven years of shouting into the void.
But I was afraid of losing momentum. What if I’d just been lucky? What if I couldn’t do it again?
In 2024 and 2025, I was fighting that fear. I didn’t enjoy taking time off because I was afraid my worries would come true.
Toward the end of 2025, something shifted. I started enjoying life more. I didn’t do anything to make it happen; it just came naturally. I guess that’s a human thing.
I also doubled down on fitness, and the results are paying off now.
Now I’m at peace.
My brain isn’t racing in the middle of the night, thinking about my next project. I’m not worried about AI taking over all my startups.
I’m just having fun.
I work on whatever sparks my curiosity. I go to the gym and sometimes stay for three hours. I play video games.
I don’t want anything. And I’ve realized that happiness is peace of mind.
I don’t want much more than this: more years like this, and maybe, one day, kids.
