Anthropic and SpaceX want to lay the groundwork for UBI as AI threatens millions of jobs worldwide But if the solution comes from US private companies, what happens to everyone else? Who will support the millions of workers displaced by AI in the rest of the world?
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit. It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion. In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding. In the post below, we share more details about our new fund. anthropic.com/news/public-be…

Ok now it makes sense
1/15 SCOOP: Trump’s “Super Intelligence” Scandal: I believe Trump’s “SI” Executive Order was ANOTHER criminal plot to enrich the Trump family. Insiders seem to have profited MILLIONS off of .si domain names before his Truth Social posts.

Why is nobody talking about this? Now with a $20 subscription you can finally use a frontier model without hitting a session limit after just 3 prompts
Introducing Gemini 3.8 Flash, another jump in Gemini's agentic + coding capabilities, and our 3rd updated Flash model in only 6 weeks... This model has been a ton of fun to work with, excited to see what you all think!

Development has changed and I think this will become the standard in the future I can build and ship side projects now entirely from my phone: I simply SSH into a VPS, tell Claude/Codex what I want, and it writes, tests, pushes, and deploys the code. Here’s my setup 🧵

4/ The VPS handles the boring parts: • Tailscale → private admin access • Cloudflare Tunnel → no exposed app ports • Caddy and Containers → isolated projects • Separate secrets/config per app • Nightly backups • Monitoring • Git-based rollback

5/ It feels like magic that if I want to change something, I can open my phone, send one message, and have the new feature or fix in production a few minutes later As a developer, you can now focus on product, marketing and sales instead of spending weeks in the development loop

Kudos to Jonathan, but I still can’t understand why people pay for that: they won’t get any traffic putting a link on that website, and they certainly won’t reach the real target of their product The idea was funny the first time with highscore.money of @marckohlbrugge

Bug fixing before: - replicate the problem - find the cause - find a solution - fix it Bug fixing now: - explain the problem to Claude

I’m usually a tech optimist but this feels different Thought-to-text could open a dystopian future: - parents reading their kids’ private thoughts - police interrogating your mind - employers scanning candidates for loyalty - governments listening in on every dissenter
Two weeks ago, I resigned from OpenAI to join Conduit as a founding researcher, where we're training models to non-invasively read the human mind. I've written some thoughts about what telepathy could look like by 2035 and how to get there:

Talking to AI was once the ultimate dream for sci-fi fans and an entire generation. Now that it’s becoming a reality, I wonder if we will one day look back on Web 2.0 with nostalgia
AI agentic Internet traffic will obviously VASTLY exceed human usage. Not a close call at all. Cloudflare’s forecast is accurate.

In a few years, when we all use AI in this way, these apps will become the universal interface for doing almost everything: from research to bookings, purchases, generating instant websites and documents, and photo/video editing These will be very difficult times to predict
chatgpt work is remarkable, and "work" undersells it. from my phone i sent: "use all my chat history to figure out ideas for a long weekend trip with 8 friends, plan the best three options, make a full-stack site where the 9 of us can coordinate on what we would want to do in each place and decide where to go, and then after we get to group agreement make reservations. draft an email in my gmail i can send out to my friends when the site is ready." it...just worked.

What makes this absurd is how hard it was to predict: until a few decades ago, everybody bet automation would hit manual labor first. So an entire generation studied and specialized for prestigious jobs and now those are exactly the jobs a machine can do in minutes
Also some thing I forgot to add There's so many things now where I don't even use the app anymore but just generate my own app to do things Like WHOOP, for years I wanted to know the correlation between stuff I do and my workouts and sleep, like going to sauna, or what I eat. WHOOP has a journal but it's practically unusable, I logged sauna for ahwile, then I realized you have to ALSO log the days you DO NOT go to sauna, by hand, every day! Useless So in those cases I just ask Claude Code to build a little web app for me that pulls all my data in from my WHOOP, and what I eat, my @wip logs when I go to sauna, or go tan, or go gym etc. It just pulls all the data in and gives me the answers to questions I have Half the time I don't even use the web app it generates, I just ask it directly stuff I have to find a hotel now for some trips we go, I didn't even go to my own site Hotelist, I just asked Claude Code on my Hotelist VPS server to find me a hotel, etc. So many times where it just saves more time to ask Claude Code directly stuff than try to do it with some startup/company's app That's what I mean, I'm obviously more tech than regular people, but we usually slightly ahead in how we use tools, and if I stop using websites and apps, and just use Claude Code for everything in my life, it's not without logic to think that something like that will be the future for most people And of course it's already happening with Claude Cowork and Codex app which regular non-tech people use My point is that the entire app and website layer is just getting decimated And me being a person who lived kinda in that layer (well more websites ofc to be honest) means I have no clue where it's going to except this, or what a person should do, for the first time, I have no clue The only thing I know is that the superintelligence clanker can't reach into IRL and hardware yet for the next few years at least, and there's lots of stuff there to do that's differentiating, because you need a space, tools, machines, make things, and no you can't generate that in 3 minutes with an AI Blood, sweat and tears are not automated yet by AI, yet!!!!

I think boilerplates and starter kits are officially obsolete All it takes now is a single prompt to spin up a new project packed with the latest libraries, good architecture, and best practices baked in

Claude Pro subscription is useless if you exhaust all the weekly limits in 3 days and have to wait until the end of the week. Let's try Codex
