This is not the first time she caught the spirit and spoke like this. I like her! We need more fearless, progressive voices in Congress, just like we need more people pushing from the outside even harder. Putting her down is a waste of time. Unity!
And what consequences you would you suggest? Prison? School expulsion? Or perhaps this where pre-trial intervention might really work. Or intense family counseling might help. Punishment has never deterred crime. Incarceration is needed-sometimes. Not here.
This policy failure brought by Del @LukeClippinger puts kids in danger. My girls go to @AACountySchools No one is saying prosecute innocent kids, but if you can’t tell the difference between an innocent kid & a law-breaking kid who puts other in danger, then stay away from policy
I too stand in solidarity with @kthalps, Katie Halper who was fired from The Hill for daring to criticize Israel on the air. Katie, like myself, are among many Jews who say "Not In Our Name!" to continued Oppression against Palestinians & The Occupation.
And it is! Sentencing a pregnant Brittany Martin to 4years for verbally confronting police in a demonstration is Klan like segregationist totalitarianism reborn. We have a fight our hands.

I know we are a deeply racist nation and this is a deeply racist world but that had more to do with the political turmoil today between Russia and the West than going after Brittney Griner because she’s Black.

No, but this election showed that a movement can be built, organizing should for next election starts now & any attacks should be met head on and lies met with truth.
I agree it sucks but the strength of @RobbieLeonardSA is a political moment to build upon. The kernels of different political movement is building in Baltimore County.
