Asian grocers have frozen lemongrass for cheap. From frozen it's easy to grate. Highly recommend
I think lemongrass is one of the most underrated aromatics.
It has this incredible citrusy, floral aroma without the acidity of lemon juice. It's used in a variety of different Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Malaysian dishes.
I love it in beef rendang, but this was just a quick lemongrass chicken marinade that I used for banh mi.

Nah, bad take.
I love a microplane, but box graters have 4 different sizes and can absolutely crush bricks of cheese, potatoes for hash browns, slices of cheese / other vegetables on the side.
Most home cooks would be better off having a fine microplane for things like zesting citrus, grating parm reggiano as a garnish, finely grating garlic, AND have a box grater for larger volume shredding.
Sure you could by 5 microplanes of different sizes, but then that also takes up space and costs more money.
They serve different purposes. Both are very useful.

ABC, 9 and 7 news segments about the new cancer vaccine claim Australia created it. Total misinformation, just did the phase 3 trial. are they being mislead by Georgina Long, the oncologist they interviewed ? or did they "creatively word" it to create a better story?
hugely profitable export. Love it, although
- often just paying for visa, and we should just auction those instead
- sometimes this is life savings by people who have been mislead about how valuable it will be for worm, or the pathways to PR

China has gotten ahead of the US in biotechnology, largely by making their clinical trial system more effective. I covered this in a @nytimes article.
Now, American patients are travelling there to have access to drugs they can't access at home. It's high time the US woke up and implemented much needed reforms.
"She had been through chemotherapy and surgery, but the cancer had now spread to her brain. And she didn’t qualify for the relevant clinical trials.
“Too bad she’s not Chinese,” a doctor told her son... “She could go to a pharmacy in China and buy it.”

my dot is dealing what support with a health care provider. They tried to deflect with AI, but mine eventually got through to a person. Now dot is giving unnecessary details and wasting their time and I feel bad.
support staff have been deflecting hard. one even said they can't open pdf. So now I want my dot to make them suffer
ask not what Brisbane could have open late for you. Ask what you could do if you got up a few hours earlier
