Currently over a month into parental leave, and it’s been one of the most valuable periods for my leadership yet.
Fully offline - no meetings, no release cycles, no pings. Just real time with my newborn.
I’m grateful to Spotify for making this proper break possible. The space has brought fresh clarity on artists, playlists, strategy, and what actually drives impact in music. Turns out stepping away completely recharges everything at a deeper level.
In our always-on industry, taking real parental leave isn’t slowing down;it’s a power move that sets you up to come back stronger.
Leaders in music (and beyond) should lean into it fully.
Still on this journey and already excited for what’s next.

Wow, it’s been 5 weeks since my baby girl arrived! I’m not sure if things will get easier or harder, but my parental leave is definitely different than I expected, haha. I’m so grateful.
Because good music and good vibes are what keep me sane during this time. I’ve put together and mixed my top house favourites from the 2010s. Enjoy.

It’s been a while since my last golf game, and guess what? I managed to get two Par holes! This is so motivating! I’ll be playing two more games before I head back home, hoping to get a birdie!
