In Cyberpunk AI becomes so powerful the Internet has to be ran on local networks cause the rogue AI’s mutated into dangerous entities so humanity has to trap them within The Blackwall. Which is a AI barrier that protects our world from the old network. I guarantee you this will be the plot of the next game. Seems like that’s where we’re headed tbh in real life too

Ta-Nehisi is šŸŽÆšŸŽÆšŸŽÆ Lots of talk about Israeli elections this week but it’s important to remember that no matter who people champion as the most ā€œmoralā€ opposition to Netanyahu, Zionism is inherently racist and there is no participation in this state system that does not subjugate Palestinians.
ā€œOne of the problems we’re having in America is that there are a lot of people who are still under the if-but-for Netanyahu fantasyā€ Ta-Nehisi Coates on the inherent racism of Zionism. From the powerful conversation between Coates, Tareq Baconi and Nesrine Malik last week.

We should not be giving the NYPD—a department that already spends millions on surveillance—another tool that will allow them to conduct mass surveillance of New Yorkers. 1/

New: we got leaked audio of Flock's CEO speaking at a police conference. He said backlash to Flock isn't real (said it's bots and paid protesters; no evidence); his wife told him to never apologize; and he may never do media interviews again. Listen: 404media.co/in-leaked-audio-…

Zohran used to speak to the dangerous relationship between Zionism and America's authoritarian policing, but now it's "woke 1 is crazy" and a billionaire Zionist-led NYPD partnering with Israeli surveillance firms.
āš”ļø Mayor Zohran Mamdani's NYPD is poised to sign a three-year, $750,500 no-bid contract with Israeli surveillance firm Cognyte for FalcoNet, an AI-driven device that mimics a cell tower to track phones and can be mounted on police cars and drones or hidden in a backpack, the New York Daily News reported. Cognyte won a tender to sell intercept spyware to Myanmar's state telecom weeks before the 2021 military coup, Reuters previously reported. Meta banned the firm the same year, saying its customers used fake accounts to target journalists and politicians in Kenya, Mexico and Indonesia. The firm is part of an Israeli surveillance industry that grew big as a result of the military's monitoring of Palestinians, whose phone calls Israel's Unit 8200 has intercepted and stored by the millions, including to carry out genocide in Gaza and enforce a brutal illegal occupation in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

It’s disappointing to have to say this, but @CBSNews, this is a serious failure of editorial reporting. I clearly state in this clip that while I have not personally been to Cuba, I have spoken with Cubans who have described it as a dictatorship, and I believe them. To claim I declined to answer the question is categorically false. That is not journalism. It is misinformation.

Filming and documenting ICE activities and arrests is the most American thing you could do. The pinnacle of First Amendment protected action.
Armed Customs & Border Patrol agents stopped a person right in front of a polling place in Key Largo which is prohibited in Florida. It’s where people from different National Origins come to vote. A bartender was able to record the whole thing & he says it was deliberate.

I’m sure everyone has already forgotten about this but the Dominican man, Oscar Belgal, shot in the neck by ICE on 10/8, and slandered by Newsweek and others as ā€œhaving a criminal history,ā€ has just been denied medical release by a fascist judge. nytimes.com/2026/10/23/nyreg…

That’s the reason my TV never goes to the internet. It’s in a separate VLAN and it’s completely cut out of the internet. This is like this for years. I enable it occasionally to upgrade the FW because there were glitches with VRR (I have a Sony Bravia). And of course I use an Apple TV box and everyone in the house uses that.
this is pretty evil and clever. so if your samsung TV model doesnt have a microphone, it will look for connected devices with one, such as a soundbar or a connected bluetooth device. this gets shipped off to bixby.

So pissed we've allowed LLM's to be called AI . LLM's are not intelligent. They cannot reason like a human. If programmed well they can guess the next, most accurate thing to output after any previous output based on programmed criteria, but it doesn't "know" a goddamn thing.

ā€œIn late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,ā€ writes Matthew Cole. ā€œThe Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet. Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ā€˜Yes.ā€™ā€ Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed. Read an exclusive excerpt from Cole’s book, ā€˜Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohamed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East’: vanityfair.visitlink.me/Q5_W…
