We took our old boy for one last run in his favourite park. The girls had to convince him (pardon the background crying by me) but he went for it.

Hoping Hurricane season passes quickly and without big trouble...
An extraordinary marine heatwave has developed off the east coast of Canada, with hundreds of thousands of square miles of ocean experiencing sea surface temperatures more than 5°C (9°F) above normal and max anomalies approaching 10°C (18°F) above normal. Thermal stress from this marine heatwave could have major impacts on marine life in the Northwest Atlantic.

Now in 2023, that is the cost of pizza and pop for a family of four at Boston Pizza.
12 years ago… the Bruins racked up over $150k at the bar celebrating their Stanley Cup victory 😱🍻

The drain this is having on the disposable income and savings of Canadians is astronomical.
Canadians' debt servicing ratio went from 13.45% in Q1 2022 to 14.9% in Q1 2023. Mortgage debt servicing ratio went from 6.93% in Q1 2022 to 8.1% in Q1 2023; almost a 17% increase. Canadians paid almost 53B more in total interest payments in Q1 2023 vs Q1 2022. Money coming directly out of the economy. Canadians' mortgage borrowing in Q1 2023 was at the lowest level since 2003. Less people can qualify, less people can afford to sell, less people can afford to continue making mortgage payments.

Endless amount of tourists that have little to no respect for the power of the ocean.
From our inbox: Easily the worst "stay off the black rocks" Peggy's Cove video we've seen so far. And we get a lot of them. (Tks Aleigha Smith)

Still alive and well on Prince Edward Island. Was essentially our whole weekend and summer. Welcoming unexpected visitors or being the ones who were the visitors.

"Prompt Engineering". Love this term. This will have incredibly large implications for the market research industry.
I see a ton of people saying that "Prompt Engineering" is the future or it's a new career. To me, this is a base skill. In fact, AI can come up with the prompts for you anyways. From yesterday's keynote with @ISLengineering in YEG. Oh, and Go Oilers tonight @SpeakersDotCa

"From 2021-22, volume of beer sold per person in Canada slumped drastically. The volume in wine sales slid by its largest margin since 1949." Retailers who use the market data in decision making will win this space. lnkd.in/gpXVy9vq
