"Poetry in Motion" LINK IN COMMENTS This drawing captures captures Michael Schumacher in the 1991 Jordan-Hart, powering through the mythical Eau Rouge corner at Spa-Francorchamps during qualifying for the 1991 Belgian GP. Schumacher, a sportscar specialist who had not driven a high-powered "formula" car before, unbelievably qualified ahead of his highly-experienced team mate in his first-ever F1 qualifying experience. Schumacher famously told the assembled media in his endearing schoolboy English that the Jordan "makes a lot of fun" ("macht viel spass" literally translated into English) to drive. Sadly, his race ended at the first corner with clutch failure. Originally rendered in pencil and pastel by fine artist Mark J Davey, this piece is reproduced using specialist, fine art giclee printing methods. Limited to 50 numbered examples and is shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
