As a man married to a Canadian, it's sad to see AND true.
Whether you hate Trump just because of the way he talks and opens his mouth to say something annoying that you don't like is one thing, but Trump did not give Canada a 69-cent dollar, a broken healthcare system, 4 million arrivals, legalized hard drugs, or doubled debt and all the homeless people on the streets. The Liberals did all of that.
For you "elbows up" people, you need to know Mark Carney's list of accomplishments: 🤣
1. Housing Market: Absolutely crushed it (0 homes built).
2. Food Prices: Skyrocketed, up 6.2%.
3. General Inflation: Through the roof.
4. Unemployment Rate: Also up, with two more months down the road.
5. U.S. Trade Deal: Still waiting...
6. GDP Growth: A thrilling -0.03%, the worst in all G7 countries.
7. National Debt: Shattered all records.
8. New Pipelines: Zero. Zilch. Nada.
9. GDP Per Capita: Took a nosedive.
10. Investment Capital: Fled the country. Down.
11. Food Bank Visits: At a record high since 2019.
The Liberal government can keep telling us lies and telling us to buy Canadian’s , but how?
When groceries cost more, who doesn't want to look for buying the cheapest thing, just because it's made in the local market Canada ? We like to buy cheaper groceries and fruits where are not only from US but from Mexico too, Common sense.

Trump is proposing new rules for Congress that mirror our own lives.
The proposed new Rules:
1. Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And no more perks go with them.
2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise at the ok same rate as the COLA for monthly Social Security recipients minus 1% if having a budget balance deficit.
5. Congress loses their current care system and participates in the same health care system (Medicare) as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!).
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor and privilege, NOT a career.
The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies. Term limits of 2 terms and treat them like a regular citizen!
