I've been wanting to write about rollups in Ethereum for a very long time, and this article represents finally delivering on that.

We have a lot of work to do, but I hope that this helps drive something forward. If you wanna more about this, find me in Bangkok this coming week 🇹🇭👌

Finally got around to reading this. Prob the most mainstream spotlight ZK tech has probably ever received
The fact that Anthropic are even putting out suggestions for enforcing regulations with SNARK verification is amazing. From something somewhat esoteric to potentially one day playing a pivotal role in regulation of the most disruptive technology rn is quite amazing

South Africa is in such an interesting place right now politically, there is serious competition for what seems like the first time since we became a democracy, what a time to be alive

assume a good portion of your engineers are/will compromised and design the internal architecture & process around that assumptions

I'm going to be honest, I think the people who are unhappy about tonight's result are living in a weird bubble. The cure is and has always been to travel abroad and talk to people of different cultures and different social classes.
Publicly to note, every right wing America supporter is a moron, especially those on my timeline.
Please use your brains you were blessed with

New Anthropic research: progress on provable inference for large language models.
Here, we introduce FlashProve. Building on established cryptographic techniques, FlashProve allows developers to verify whether a given response came from a given AI model. It’s substantially more efficient than prior open-source methods for doing so.
These proofs have a range of applications. They can, for instance, make it harder for attackers to hijack a chat, or enable safety evaluators to verify that the model they’re testing is the same one being served to customers.
For our full write-up, see here: anthropic.com/research/prova…
Further progress in provable inference will likely be an important part of improving trust in AI deployment. To that end, we're open-sourcing FlashProve’s code, here: github.com/anthropics/FlashP…
We’re grateful to our collaborators: Alessandro Chiesa, @GiacomoFenzi, @gwberg95, @miranda__christ, Rahul Dalal (rdalal.github.io) and Ben Mayer (@transmissions11).

well well well, things I didn’t expect:
• anthropic shipping zk proofs for ai inference
• with that ofc the proof system is similar to what ethereum rollups use (so surprising to see which rollups got mentioned) cc @gluk64
• part of the jump on speed is that they used h100, the earlier proof of the same model was done in 14 hrs for 1k tokens, compared to 9sec today

Oh my god, does it ever end

It's actually hilarious.
And you have poor souls on this app who actually believe there are going to be data centers in space on top of this (have you seen what the most advanced satellite tech in existence looks like right now?) It's unbelievable what kool-aid people will slurp up.
This whole stock and what propped up it's valuation is an absolute joke
