This morning at my mosque I ran into a Palestinian man I haven’t seen in a while. He came here to the states nearly 30 years ago, fleeing his home for a better life. We were talking about the current state of things and he said “you know what has been the best thing that’s ever happened to my people? Social media. You all on Twitter and the others. One day I will go home” and he smiled this big smile I hadn’t ever seen.
