What a surprise to see the whiny #LeamOut brigade underwhelmed with the new manager options. Most of us could’ve told you that a week ago.

TWO points deductions totalling 27 points this year and yet you've still fucked it up?! What a bloody shame!! Enjoy league one, lads! Ironically, #wafc are taking your place! You couldn't make it up! #RulesIsRules #ReapWhatYouSow #SeeYa

We’ve already experienced so many iconic days this season that will be spoken about for decades to come. Hard to fathom that, just nine months ago, we were preparing ourselves for the possibility of life without Wigan Athletic. Don’t take these moments for granted. #WAFC

Wigan's League One survival should go down as a minor MIRACLE

MATT BARLOW: That was a season like no other at Wigan Athletic. Administration, a mass exodus of players and staff, and nine months on the brink, unsure if the next day might be the last.

Wigan owner ditches club because he can’t be arsed anymore. Decision: Relegate club to punish everyone but the owner. Big 6 owners launch coup to steal football and kill off competition. Decision: Don’t punish club as it’s not the fans fault. Double standards for big 6 as per.

Don’t want fans punished for no reason, but in this instance docking points would be a really effective way of punishing these owners. In our case, it absolutely was not

This x1000. Can’t question the desire for any of the current squad. The ability is there too and there’s a better chance of seeing this on regular basis if they’re not logging onto twitter on Saturday evenings to dozens of messages telling them they’re shit. Support your team.

Let’s go back to another one of Greg Clarke’s fine moments. The FA and The EFL are killing football clubs. Good riddance to this muppet

"I'm just stunned" @DCMS select committee member @IanCLucas asks @FA chairman Greg Clarke about his involvement in the #BuryFC crisis. Representatives from the @EFL and the @premierleague were also giving evidence this afternoon.
