Strange coincidence. Was visiting an artist friend who has no awareness of the #GameStop saga. Saw this painting on the wall in his studio. I may have to buy it. 👀

I love Jon Stewart..! Nothing new covered here, but the way he lays it out is simply brilliant. $GME
🚨🚨 HOW THE STOCK MARKET REALLY WORKS
🚨🚨 MUST WATCH
The Stock Market started so people could invest their money in companies they believed in.
It brought the funding power of regular people together with companies that needed capital to bring innovation to market.
It was mutually beneficial. Because the regular people could passively grow their nest egg and the company could expand growing the economy.
But the Stock Market might have been founded on this idea but it's not how it really functions.
You will hear the Stock Market is manipulated but that is a broad term. It's broad because there are many ways it is being manipulated.
Jon Stewart breaks down the engineering and how it's manipulated.
Sadly this is just part of the mechanism.
But one name that is always at the heart of the conversation is Citadel Securities and it's CEO Ken Griffin.
Remember remember?
Or just another nothing burger?

Well, warrants are done, “bears beware” (Halloween) done, daylight savings (many so-called kitty references) done. Bandana change on kitty account Friday yet no return last night for kitty watch.
I think it’s safe to say all the theories and tin of the last 2.5 years were just for $GME engagement. Time to close out all leverage, add a few shares to my stack, and perhaps delete X for a bit. Though a part of me hoped for some excitement, I’m not disappointed because I really didn’t expect anything. 🫡
Will @TheRoaringKitty grant us a happy Halloween greeting on this spooky day?

You can choose between the Dune fuck bucket with a vibrator, the Dune fuck bucket you enjoy with a friend, the Dune dildo shaker bottle, or…a mouse.
Will be interesting to see what happens going forward with $GME. For so many in this community, this was the line in the sand. This was the test to see whose interests @GameStop management was working on behalf of.
Perhaps letting warrants expire worthless was part of a bigger plan that retail doesn’t understand, one that will come to light later – but retail investors are the group who took on the brunt of burden and sacrifice to keep this thing alive when it was on the brink. Many saw these warrants as a gift to reward their loyalty. And many of them see the decision not to extend the expiration, or to use buybacks to inject shareholder value as a slap in the face, or even a message that their years long commitment to this movement isn’t valued.
Personally, I’m on the fence. Naming the warrants “Project Genesis”, and the bonds “Project Wee” and “Project Rocket” struck many (including myself) as compelling. There have been other anomalies and coincidences along this journey that have understandably been interpreted in a similar way. Maybe we are all just crazy for ever letting these thoughts enter our minds.
To whatever degree any of us have allowed ourselves to get caught up in the hype and conspiracy theories, that is on us. It’s not on @ryancohen . It’s not on whoever is behind the @TheRoaringKitty persona. It’s not on @greg16676935420 . It’s on the one holding the mobile device you are currently looking at. Making investment decisions based on anything other than sound fundamental and technical analysis has proven time and time again to be fruitless. Tin does not pay, it only provokes engagement.
As for me, I like the stock. I own, and will continue to hold a large position – but I will be pulling back from engaging with this saga at the level I have been. Not going away, just shifting focus. I admit that I’ve gotten caught up in the hype at times, and I have made some bad decisions as a result. Thankfully I’ve always been committed to risk management and diversification.
Be safe.
10-2 you say?
