This is so sad. The fact that Bud Light chose to partner with her then basically hung her out to dry while conservatives literally called for her to be murdered is probably the most egregious example of rainbow capitalism.

Hypothetical: Imagine a world in which some scientists cheat and some don’t and that the cheaters can’t/don’t get caught bc nobody checks. Who’s more likely to get papers/jobs/editorial positions: cheaters or non-cheaters? Who’s more likely to have to quit?

The most talented people who understand this (AI) technology are going to make more money.
And the people who don’t understand it, who just get angry, and who aren’t willing to learn it, are going to make less money.

Economic nostalgia? I'm from a working class family in the 1970s. Had three major TV channels, vacations were rare and nearby, no A/C, bland food, house with one bathroom. Without comic books, I would have gone insane.
