Do I know anyone at Twilio or Klaviyo? We want to spend a lot of money on sms sends, but we need big sending limits and expedited timelines for ramp up.

Note to self: maybe it was a bad idea agreeing to do HYROX the same month you’re trying to launch a startup. 😅

We decided to move our weekly auction event to Thursdays at 1PM ET once we launch. It was going to be Friday’s, but realized too many people bounce early for the weekend. Also figured out Thursdays are the most active day for other auction sites.

🏁 Pushed a new site design for FinalLap as we gear up to host our first auctions in November. finallap.com

I pay an editor $600/mo to cut my reels. The motion graphics are always the slow part. Now my agent can build the brand look first, then animate it in Tesseract by @trymirage. Same project, every layer editable. My editor gets a better starting point, and we can reuse that design system across all our videos. Getting the design right first makes the whole thing better. These are the same guys behind Captions, which I use to caption all my videos.

I'm getting paid to promote my own company. I've basically self funded FinalLap's development and marketing budget with money from brand videos on my Instagram. Wild times. Even better, some brands are now paying me to show how I'm building FinalLap behind the scenes. Their tool is part of the actual build.

Delegation is a skill worth mastering. Good little workshop to tune in for if you're a business owner.

This as an ad on Meta is cranking right now for pre-launch signups. Time to go get hit by more cars.

It’s dangerous building a car auction website.

I had a fun day today. I basically spent the day as a sound designer. I chose a ton of subtle sound effects for FinalLap.com’s auction interface. It’s going to be fun.

Meta gave me early access to Muse, their new personal AI agent. I did some wild things with it in my business and personal life. Genuinely super impressed with it. It just works. For example: it paid my bills, bought flowers, and booked date nights. This is what OpenClaw should have been.

🔉🎵 Is anyone out there good at subtle SOUND effects in apps? We have moments in the app I want to apply sounds & subtle animations to.

🏁 Any UX / UI designers available NOW to do a pass of fine tuning on the FinalLap.com app with me? I'd like to have fresh eyes on the live auction experience as we do final polish. Hit me here / DM / marshall@needwant [dot] com
