Meta got 10 million people signing up for Muse. Uber got 4 AI-agent trips.

This is big. First bank welcoming AI agents. I have a mercury account. Will test drive and report back.
1/ Today, @Mercury is launching Agent Controls: see every agent connected to your account, what it can do, its activity, and cut it off in seconds. Big banks are locking AI agents out. It’s bad security, and an admission they don’t understand the future.

AI agents checking in with me fill up my notifications now - see pic. I schedule time in my calendar 3x a day to answer their questions and remove bottlenecks for them. It's thrilling and exhausting. They work 24x7 and don't take vacations. Anyone else working out how to manage them?

I'm pleased to be quoted in tomorrow's Wall Street Journal explaining what tokenized stocks are, and the difference between issuer sponsored tokenized stock with all the rights of regular stock including proxy voting and dividends, and synthetic tokenized stock. And @Figure tokenized stock. wsj.com/finance/stocks/token…

AI 2040 Plan A is a very thoughtful positive scenario from the AI Futures Project of the benefits AI could bring through to 2040 if we get safety right. With the current urgency on safety, I listened to this again over the weekend and highly recommend it. The first half of the report has detailed ambitious recommendations on how to address the safety issues, and the second half is a positive scenario of what our world looks like in 10 years. The report and podcast are below. I have also copied a summary of the report. ai-2040.com/ lnkd.in/gXvgHcJi AI 2040: Plan A is the AI Futures Project’s proposed route to a flourishing future. The first half focuses on safety: racing toward self-improving AI risks human extinction or permanent concentration of power. In the scenario, a US–China agreement delays superintelligence until 2040, buying time for safety research and societal preparation. Compute tracking, inspections, and tightly controlled research facilities make the slowdown verifiable. Nearly all AI research becomes public, enabling independent scrutiny and allowing many companies and countries to reach the frontier. Datacenter self-destruct mechanisms provide a drastic fallback if cooperation collapses. The second half imagines life in the late 2030s: Hundreds of millions of agents are running 24x7. AI remains capped around top-human-expert capability while researchers establish trustworthy alignment. Even at that level, vast AI and robot workforces automate most work, accelerate science, and generate extraordinary abundance. A Citizen’s Dividend distributes prosperity, while disease, homelessness, and material deprivation fall dramatically. People spend more time on family, relationships, learning, hobbies, and travel, although finding purpose without work remains challenging. Reliable AI advisers and privacy-preserving audits improve public understanding, political accountability, and international cooperation. Industry increasingly moves into space, helping preserve Earth’s natural environments and historic places.

Today Figure launched its blockchain-native common stock FGRD and I took it for a test drive. It's the first SEC-registered common equity issuance native on the blockchain. Like Galaxy's tokenized stock, this isn’t a tokenized wrapper of a DTCC-held security; it’s the security itself. You can trade it 24x7 on the Figure ATS with deep liquidity, it settles instantly, and you can loan it out and borrow against it. This evening I bought one share of FGRD on the Figure ATS. Here is the play-by-play: * Easy Onboarding - Opened a brokerage account at Figure through their app, passed KYC and funded the account. You can only buy FGRD through the Figure app for now. * 24x7 Trading with Deep Liquidity - Bought 1 share of FGRD on the Figure ATS at 9pm. The ATS uses a central limit order book with more liquidity than I expected courtesy of Jump Trading. The spread was wide at $31.31/$31.94. See the image for the full order book. Payment has to be made in YLDS which is Figure's stablecoin. * Atomic Settlement - I sold the share, received YLDS and converted this to USD. The USD was immediately available. * Democratized Prime - via Figure’s 'Democratized Prime' I attempted to loan FGRD out on a transparent stock loan limit order book (there was no demand), and could borrow against it. Figure call the ecosystem they have created OPEN - On-chain Public Equity Network, and it's an impressively sophisticated step into the future.

Update: The spread has significantly narrowed to 4-10 cents now that regular markets are open. Bid $30.43 / Ask $30.50 And it is being quoted in line with the BBO of Figure stock FIGR on the traditional markets.

MOMA = Museum of Modern Art in New York City @MuseumModernArt So since the best modern art museum in the world (MOMA) exhibits this AI generated ‘art’….. does this mean this AI is art?
AI generated art at MOMA in NYC. Saw live yesterday. Input is all publicly available MOMA pics. My point of view is all art is generative and builds on others. Picasso created cubism from African death masks. Taylor Swift followed Madonna. The algo is simple I think. I’m tempted to try to re-create it using the public data set. Video shot by me on iPhone 14. Listen to sound.

MOMA = Museum of Modern Art in New York City @MuseumModernArt Probably the best modern art museum in the world, along with Tate in London and Pompidou in Paris. MOMA decided to exhibit this AI generated art. Does this mean this AI is art?

AI is moving sick fast in gaming. Are the gaming companies dead? Or will they drop cost through use of AI but keep revenue. Or will revenue drop when people stop building games themselves to essentially free.
I've decided to create a highlight reel of my work over the past few months, focusing on AI and its potential use in the video game industry
