What Maori leaders frame as racism by white folks is usually not. It’s the reaction people with a proud history of abolishing slavery and deposing tyrants have when we’re talked about like we’re slaves by people who act like they want to be tyrants. realitycheck.radio/the-outsi…

Chris Hipkins rallies the troops on the “more government/less freedom” “borrow/tax/waste” left ahead of the coming election.
This video from @TheBabylonBee seems about two or three years old, however, it's as poignant today as it was then. This is exactly what the Democrat Party is all about. It's comical and yet has a feeling of undeniable truth to it. They all disguise themselves as righteous Crusaders and yet it's all a big lie.

The totes fave politician of @chrisluxonmp The guy campaigning to put Labour, Greens TOP and Maori Party back into power with his “four legs good, two ticks blue!” campaign.
The media wants to pretend it is just a coincidence, but the optics from Detroit are absolutely glaring. You have Barack Obama—a man who spent his entire presidency appeasing global Islamic interests—rushing to Michigan to rally for Abdul El-Sayed. El-Sayed is the radical progressive candidate fighting to become the first Muslim in the US Senate. This is the same candidate who has called for an end to all US military aid to Israel. And who does the Democrat establishment call in to rescue his floundering campaign? Barack Obama. During his speech in Detroit, Obama literally told the crowd, "We have seen this movie before. I starred in it". He is openly telling you exactly what this is. It is entirely typical. Obama’s legacy is built on completely abandoning traditional American alliances while empowering radical Middle Eastern regimes with pallets of cash. Now he is desperate to install a senator who openly calls Israel’s self-defense a "genocide". They are showing you exactly who they are and what their priorities are. They despise American sovereignty and traditional Western alliances, and they will always flock together to ensure those institutions are dismantled from the inside out. Michigan is the frontline, and Trump is exactly right to call this out.

Great post. Our mid-witted middle management politicians have been conditioned into a Marxist idea of equality that prevents objective assessment of the cultures we’re importing; cultures where deception, corruption, tribalism and sexual predation are normal.
With my experience in the 3rd world I’ve put some thoughts together, to help Kiwis adjust to NZ’s new reality under the Indian Mass Immigration Agreement.

Spot on. The politics of “gimmes” is a inevitable consequence of the erosion of our high-trust economy by race-based tribal radicalism, immigration from low-trust cultures and squeezing of living standards by bankers and a public sector that’s growing like cancer.
It's sad to say, the National Party have lost their way. When they first started they stood with integrity, but now all they stand for is compromise, complicity and complacency. Mere pawns of the globalists, and partners with BigTech, BigPharma, and a UN disruptive agenda. I used to admire National MPs, and Sir Keith Holyoak was the epitome of a good PM, and a good MP. But now?.... LuxSingh promotes India and Indians as better than Kiwis, invites them to swamp NZ with a Free Migration agreement, cloaked in "Free Trade" trappings. National has done little about the racist policies, racist funding, and unequal treatment of citizens based on bloodline, skin colour, and status rather than needs. The racist imposition of the dead Maori language is disgraceful, and it's being rammed down the throat of unwilling Kiwis, who still don't understand what cliche tokenist sentences are being delivered by the media. National has done nothing to fix a lying, biased, and manipulative media. Instead of FIXING the @BSA_NZ , they cancelled it so that we have no protection. National has continued overspending (spending more than we earn), which is OK if the spend is long term investment, but week after week the Taxpayer Union provides examples of profligate and wasteful spending in National MP-Led Ministries. The ONLY things National has actually fixed is Education, Defense, and the restoration of proper RBNZ targets, but they appointed a Lefty activist RBNZ Governor, and did not hold Treasury to account regarding their complicity in lies in the latter Labour Government Budgets. Immigration is still a mess. Police are still a mess. Health is still a mess. Justice is still a mess. @NZHumanRights is still a mess. TOW tribunal is still there, and still being racist/activist. Dangerous mRNA drugs are still being jabbed into both people and animals. They want to destroy NZ's clean green brand by Genetic fiddling, ... It's awful. But yet is nowhere near as awful as what the -Labour government did in 2017-2023, dividing and bankrupting NZ over the latest flu, following global "guidance" rather than Kiwi common sense. Party vote NZF or ACT, because National must be sent a clear message: Sack LuxSingh, BringBackPenk, abandon Climate Religion, restore your first love of integrity, farming and family. Abandon the woke nonsense; renounce it. God Defend NZ.

So much treasonous, Fabian “there’s a DVD of me doing something blackmailable” in one clip. Nauseating.
Chris Finlayson admits that he accepted Grant Robertson and Ardern’s request to represent them at the covid enquiry as they wanted someone who would be ‘difficult’ and to annoy WP. Chris Finlayson and Phill Goffs weekly podcast sole purpose is to attack WP and NZF, episode after episode it’s all about attacking NZ First and its leader. The only politician from the centre right they talk positively of is Act’s James Christmas, who of course is Finlayson’s protege. The gruesome twosome dismiss NZ First as a conspiracy theorist party, and people are “sick of them” and that’s why TOP should be considered the new centrist party. They both attack WP for not voting to give the right for the UN and WEF to override NZ to make its own decisions “in the next pandemic this is life and death!” Goff condemns his decision as bad as WP voting against recognising Palestine. Ridiculously, Goff, (Clark’s sockpuppet and disgraced UK Highcommissioner) asserts that WP is going down a ‘neo fascist path’ - this is the kind of unhinged conspiracy theorist rhetoric that leads to the nutters on the left committing violent politically motivated attacks, like the lunatic greens supporter who put a metal bar through WP’s window at his home. Finlayson who has legally represented TPM, is perhaps one of the most nation damaging MP’s ever to come out of National, is an extreme ideologue, a twisted petty nasty bitch describes WP as “An old grandad who seems to be out of it”. Finlayson’s hatred decades long of WP seems to be clearly a classic case of self loathing, in 2014 he told the Sunday Star Times that he is gay as well as Catholic, he is an "odd fish", He has no partner, and says he is celibate”. It’s no wonder he despises NZ’s only conservative political leader who loves his country—a father, and yes a grandfather, with a longterm partner. Maybe Finlayson has a goldfish or perhaps a Gerbil.

If only our politicians were better able to explain this to the media and confused lefty voters with suicidal empathy and narcissistic compassion.
"You reduce crime by eliminating poverty." This is one of the greatest intellectual confusions of our century. It sounds compassionate. It feels obvious. And the moment you actually test it, it falls apart. Let's look at the data. First, the correlation is real. Nobody serious denies that poorer areas have more crime. In Sweden, kids from the poorest 20% of families are about 7 times more likely to be convicted of a violent crime than kids from the richest 20%. But correlation is not causation. So Swedish researchers did something brilliant: they compared siblings. Same parents, same home, same upbringing, but different family income at different points in their childhood, because parents' income moves over time. Result, on more than 500,000 children (Sariaslan et al., British Journal of Psychiatry, 2014): once you account for what's shared inside the family, the effect of income on violent crime goes from 7x to nothing. The hazard ratio drops to 0.95. No effect. Finland ran the same test on 650,000 people. Same result: the income-crime link disappears when you compare siblings. What predicts crime isn't the bank balance. It's what travels inside families. Second test: what happens when poverty spikes for everyone at once? 2008. US unemployment doubled from 5% to nearly 10%. 15% of Americans officially poor. If poverty creates crime, crime should have exploded. Instead it fell. Year after year. Robbery, the most "economic" crime of all, dropped 10% in 2010 alone. Criminologists literally said they were stumped. Same story in the Great Depression: 25% unemployment, and crime went down in many cities. Third test: take families out of poverty and see. The US government ran a randomized lottery called Moving to Opportunity. Thousands of families in public housing got vouchers to move to low-poverty neighborhoods. For boys, violent arrests dropped at first, property crime arrests went up, and over time the effects faded. New zip code. Same behavior. Fourth: the claim that police don't matter. This one is just false. Chalfin et al. (American Economic Review: Insights, 2022): each additional police officer prevents about 0.1 homicides. And per capita, the lives saved are twice as many among Black victims as among white victims. The people who suffer most from "police don't matter" are the poorest neighborhoods. So what does predict crime? The Dunedin study followed 1,000 children from birth to age 32. Self-control measured between ages 3 and 11 predicted adult criminal convictions, even after controlling for social class and IQ (Moffitt et al., PNAS, 2011). Cognitive ability matters too: across 700,000 Swedish men, lower cognitive scores at 18 track with violent convictions, and the link barely moves when you control for childhood socioeconomic status (Frisell et al., 2012). And here's the part nobody quotes: in Dunedin, kids whose self-control improved over time did better than predicted. Behavior can change. Which means responsibility is real. Why does this matter? Because "poverty creates crime" isn't just wrong. It's toxic. It turns criminals into victims. The man who robbed you becomes a symptom of "the system," and you, the real victim, become a footnote in someone else's narrative. It merges two completely different things. "You're poor, we'll help you" is one policy. "You're poor and you committed a crime, so we'll excuse you" is another. Fusing them insults the millions of poor people who work, raise their kids, and never hurt anyone. The vast majority of poor people are not criminals. That alone kills the theory. It removes responsibility. Build a political system on "your circumstances made you do it" and you destroy the one thing that actually changes behavior: the certainty that you own your choices. Every excuse the state manufactures is an incentive. And it feeds the state forever. If every crime is a social failure, every crime justifies a new program, a new budget, a new agency. Crime becomes the business model of bureaucracy. The alternative is simple and old. A lighter state that protects instead of explains. The same rules for everyone, from the projects or from a gated community. Certain, swift punishment for anyone who commits a crime. And never, ever telling someone their crime was written in their social condition. Treating someone as responsible is respecting them. Excusing someone because they're poor is the most condescending thing you can do to them.

I take no joy in agreeing with this, but I do.
No, she does not realize anything. No, she will not realize anything. No, she will not change her belief system. Because she has none. Only high-testosterone, high-IQ heterosexual males speak and act as a result of their mental model of the system as a whole. Everyone else just says and does whatever they think will keep them safe, and maybe get them a pat on the head. Her mental model is not "Diversity is good for France." Her mental model is "if I say diversity is good for France, others will approve of me". If you have enough voters who believe things simply because others believe them, democracy becomes irrelevant. Actual opinion no longer matters, only the illusion of consensus. Because the people who are swayed by the illusion of consensus become the swing voters, and everyone who actually needs to be reasoned with becomes irrelevant. That's what women's suffrage is really for. That's what immigration is really for. That's what government school systems are for. They are all for generating a critical mass of voters whose opinions are formed outside their heads. That's why the entire Western political class appears to hate high-T hetero White men suddenly and all at once. Western high-T hetero White men are the demographic that advances civilization at all, but they are also the greatest impediment to managerial rule. And guess which one the political class actually cares about. So, no, women are not going to suddenly wake up and reverse course. You are not going to seize power by changing women's minds. You must change women's minds by seizing power.

Once the Babyboomers fade as a voting bloc, National (at least in its current “amoral, unimaginative corporate drone” state) will fade with them, and it will richly deserve to do so. If you can’t take the hint of voters preferring Hipkins it’s a unique sort of tin-eared-ness.
They say that if you're going to deceive people you need to have a good memory. Mr Luxon's memory might have failed him in this instance. Where he is critical of house speaker Trevor Mallard for using sprinklers and loud music to unsettle covid19 mandate protesters outside the NZ parliament. Mr Mallard gave a speech to the house the very day after the protesters were finally and violently dispersed by police. The speaker expressed his gratitude to Mr Luxon for the fulsome support he had given him in his struggle to deal with the protest. Mallard pointed out that he had been in long discussions with the National leader at all hours of the day and had spent more time in discussions with Luxon than any other party leader. Mr Luxon's criticism of Mallard a year later suggests he knew nothing of the plan to use sprinklers and loud music to discomfort the protesters. Once again, I find this very difficult to believe. Especially given the extended period these tactics were used. IMHO Mr Luxon is (once again) stretching the truth just a bit too far.

This is baffling … unless you confront the abundant evidence that our “middle management” politicians are compromised and colluding — two sides of the same coin. Heads they win, tails you lose.
It's no coincidence that National has not exposed the many sins of the @nzlabour government 2017-2023. 1. No thorough investigation of the missing $30b 2. No investigation of Arderns wealth and it's links to "pay for play" policy . 3. A second "Covid Inquiry" which let Labour leaders get away with murder and no accountability for their crimes. 4. Continued use of mRNA technology despite proven links to higher risk of heart problems and cancer @SimeonBrownMP and the illegal harassment of a whistleblower (ongoing), and doctors who spoke out on safety matters. 5. Did not ensure JT was arrested for his criminal election interference 6. Never arrested Ardern for her obvious drug taking. 7. Never arrested Mallard or senior police for their crimes in the Wellington Freedom Protest saga (torture, illegal sound blaster use, initiating violence, collusion between police and politicians).

This is fascinating, one of those things that seems like the innocuous start of a whole new field of incredible possibilities.
Physicists have created an entirely new form of matter, a crystal that we didn't previously know existed. It's the sort of research that might one day win a Nobel Prize.

Great summary of New Zealand’s up-coming election. Once social trust is worn away, self interest gimmes take over, people vote them selves into the cart, and the few who were still pulling decide to leave.
At some point, the people doing all the pulling will just walk away ...

Just in case you’re still feeling a little “four legs good, two ticks blue”. If you do that, you’ll be voting for Chloe Swarbrick.
National on 25.9% means they’ll need another 7 percentage points (or a 27% increase or 254,000 extra votes - TO GET IN JUST ONE LIST MP. On the latest poll that means 941,860 PARTY votes for National will be wasted, and will let the left win Govt. This needs to be explained to morons who still want to double tick blue. Electorate vote National - only Party vote NZF or Act Giving your party vote to NZF or ACT will lock in a centre right win, saving National from itself, saving the coaliton and saving New Zealand.
