Whether it’s the the Biden White House misplacing an apostrophe in a transcript or Donald Trump explicitly threatening to execute Liz Cheney with a firing squad, both sides have badly soiled our national dialogue.

If you were going to choose a metaphor for the 2024 Republican Party, a garbage truck chauffeuring around a billionaire traveling around in circles and going nowhere, all for a photo op, is pretty spot on.

Listen as Jentezen Franklin prays a blessing over President Trump. He looks truly humbled and appreciative. ♥️

I haven't been worrying unduly about SCOTUS messing with this election Bush v. Gore style...but dividing along partisan lines in a partisan election dispute six days before Nov. 5th--while providing zero explanation--is a little ominous

WSJ created new X accounts with interests only in topics like crafts, sports and cooking, But they were fed a steady diet of posts that lean toward Donald Trump and that sow doubt about the integrity of the Nov. 5 election wsj.com/politics/elections/x…

I found this while searching Meta Ads Library for political ads the mention "election integrity." The Hard Asset Heroes page has spent $1.2 million on ads this month and $224,000 in the past week.
My question: Where's the ad money from?
Other ads also include misinformation:

Extremely funny that this guy googled "Puerto Rico" and "garbage" in a tortured attempt to claim Kill Tony was not making a dumb joke, but was actually highlighting a serious problem for an island in trouble

The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead. Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.

In his memoir, "Collision of Power," Marty Baron wrote that then publisher Fred Ryan did not want to make an endorsement in the 2016 Clinton v Trump race.
Editorial page editor Fred Hiatt considered resigning.
Bezos's reply at the time: "Why wouldn't we make an endorsement?"

Scoop: Washington Post editor at large Robert Kagan confirms to me that he resigned from the Post following today's decision not to endorse in the presidential race.
Opinion staff at WaPo are furious about the paper's endorsement decision. Several are contemplating what action to take, ranging from resigning, quitting the board, or a statement. "If you doin't have the balls to own a newspaper, don't," one Post opinion employee tells me.
There's a new version of this post

Question: If Trump wins after campaigning on the idea that 1/6 was good, pardons all 1/6 rioters, and cancels the prosecution of himself for his 1/6 crimes, did 1/6 ever happen at all? It will be rewritten entirely.
