There's a transition period of 6000 blocks. During this transition period, users can download the latest wallet and send activation transaction to activate MASS and Chia capacity files for mining. After the height of 1404801, the whole network will adopt the new mining algorithm.

1/3 ⚠️⚠️With the smooth running of MASS test net now the main net upgrade is good to go! The upgrade hardfork will happen at block height 1398801(Around UTC 2021/07/15 6:00), and mining will be viable at block height 1404801(Around UTC 2021/07/18 6:00).

1/3 ⚠️Important Upgrade❗️❗️❗️ Finally we've ready for the upgrade. After votes from community, the details of the upgrade show below: 1. MASS mining algorithm is compatible with the @chia_project file format and both K32 and K33 plot file types can be used for MASS mining.

2/3 2. To activate mining, miners need to sent a activation transaction and burn certain amount of MASS token. 3. P2P network module has been optimized. 4. MASS signature algorithm library is now compatible with the BLS signature algorightm.
