Yesterday was a great day for MiSTEM Region 2. Thank you Michigan International Speedway for allowing us to host 14 teachers from 5 counties with 300 students! Ten80 Racing Challenge was a big hit! @Ten80Ed @WashISD @stem_mi

Math lesson of the day: 1/100th has a decimal equivalent of 0.01 Therefore saying “for the 1/100th time” could really fool your followers but it cracks the rest of us up. 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️👏🏼
What a visual difference it makes when we use the same scale for graphs. Please stop with the misleading graph displays, we have more than enough samples to use in math lessons now.

I challenge the schools, districts, & universities sending & posting letters about solidarity w/ Black people & commitments to racial justice to append to their letters a list of policy, institutional culture, & personnel changes that will have them walking their talk.
At least I applied to be a part of the solution. I will continue to walk the walk not just talk the talk. Better Every Day!
