Excited to take our biomechanics lab on the road to Rhode Island College. The first step toward building partnerships with schools across New England and bringing objective biomechanics data directly to programs that don’t have access to advanced technology!
First attempt at Gaussian splat using
10 Optitrack color prime cameras at 360fps x 720p
Built on @DrivelineBB open source openbiomechanics work @drivelinekyle

We’re in the middle of an arms race in college baseball
Everyone’s trying to figure out how to build their own lab.
Here’s been my message to everyone I’ve talked to:
Our cameras are by no means set up for softball trial captures but impressed with theias ability to deal with the adversity in the capture.
AI automating 95% of former daily tasks hasn’t given me 95% more free time, but it’s allowed me to take on infinitely more advanced tasks in that time.

At Infinite Sky, we use Computer Vision, Machine Learning AI and Physics Simulation to extract data from video, including the ability to measure Command, as seen in the video. We're currently processing Millions of pitches from MLB, through MiLB and NCAA. Message for a Demo!
Full custom bat and ball tracking (yes the only swings we have are on a mound for now). Stalker Pro had the EV at 89.8. More validation coming
Will we have Fable level local AI models capable of running at some capacity on higher end consumer GPU in 2027?

Pro guys,
With the pending lockout and potential it could drag out…make sure you’re prepping this offseason correctly
We could be in the ‘blend to season’ phase for a while…

Remember when people thought spin rate was ultra important so radar gun manufacturers came out with guns that measured spin rate for nearly $1000 more?
Simpler times.

Recruiting 101:
2027 Family calls me - we discuss the process with their son.
‼️Son: “Dan my top 10 are these schools.”
🙏Me: “that’s great, I actually support your list. You follow all of the coaches from the 10 teams on X right? Filled out their recruiting questionnaires? And you’ve emailed them your info(metrics, academics/transcript, videos, what you’re interested in studying, etc)?”
🤪Son: “wait, I should email them all of that? And no, I haven’t followed the coaches, just the program accounts.”
‼️If you’re all in - BE all in. Do all of the necessary “things”‼️
✅Follow the entire staff on X - can’t find them? Google their name + Twitter account
✅Fill out their Recruiting Questionnaire
✅Introductory email to the entire staff - transcript attached/video included
✅Research the schools - academics / YouTube campus tour / financials / previous years performances / where the coaches have coached before
✅Do they have a camp coming up
@OTRSports_ streamlines this for you…..

New PR yesterday getting ready for freshman season at GMU + a new sinker
Thanks to @AtlanticSportsP @maxd_asp @_Candela12 best facility in Northeast
Probably sound like a broken record but why is it that families are willing to spend thousands and thousands on one tournament vs a year’s worth of training?
SOME families not all of them.

The HS to college jump isn't just more work. It's a total loss of environmental control.
In HS someone scheduled the lifts, mom stocked the fridge, practice ended and food was waiting.
