The strategic panic within the Russian military machine has just been officially confirmed by top Kremlin propagandist Yuriy Podolyaka.
He openly admitted that there is absolutely no rotation for mobilized Russian soldiers, none is planned, and they will be forced to fight "until they die." This explains the sheer brutality of the recent nightly raids on Kitay-Gorod and Tagansky police station in Moscow.
The regime is running out of meat to hold the frontline, and voluntary recruitment has collapsed. For any Russian citizen, receiving a draft notice inside a police station isn't a temporary service—it is an official one-way ticket to a trench.
They are locking their own children in cells and forcing them into the army because the alternatives mean a total frontline collapse

Российский военкор Сладков поделился своими впечатлениями от современного Донецка. По его словам, после прихода России Донецк превратился в грязный и бедный город с нечищенными улицами, в котором не работают предприятия.
До 2014 Донецк был одним из самых ухоженных и успешных городов Украины, который соревновался с Киевом. Теперь же его превратили в грязную провинциальную дыру, от которой даже самих россиян воротит.

Ukraine has spent almost three years digging obstacle belts across its front: anti-tank ditches, dragon's teeth, wire. In 2026 the Russian front still moved past most of them within a month of reaching them, about as fast as over the open ground nearby. Yet Russia's advance fell to about a third of the year before.
The first belts, ordered after the 2023 counteroffensive, often came too late and were dug where digging was easy, far from the troops. From 2025 they were built around the drones: belts at the inner edge of a kill zone, strongpoints behind them, drones over the space between. Russian infantry still gets through in small groups. A column of vehicles does not: one near Pokrovsk ended in an anti-tank ditch, almost entirely destroyed.
Belts rarely stop an advance on their own. They slow it, the heavier the push the more, and they keep dragging after the front passes, because supplies and reserves must squeeze through the same few crossings under drones. That cuts both ways: Ukrainian troops in front of a belt depend on its crossings too, and Russia's own 2022–23 belts in the south sit within Ukrainian drone reach.
Most of Ukraine's new lines have yet to face an attack. They will probably keep Russia on foot.

The police in russia have been "recruiters" for the army for a while already. They get bonuses for getting people to sign papers and use any tactic they want, usually violent.
I'm just surprised to see this extended to Moscow. They're getting desperate.

Виявляється, на складах реально з червня стояли генератори на 20 МВт (10 штук двомегаватних) – спеціально закуплені коштом держбюджету за €10 млн «для порятунку водогону столиці».
Але Києву то ніхто не віддав. І не віддає. Тільки президент і прем’єр оголосили, що от таку хорошу штуку купили – подбали про нещасних киян.
Реально як в анекдоті: «Ви рибов продаєте? Нє, тільки показую».
Хоча ні, тут навіть на показують – Київводоканал досі не знає специфікацій тієї генерації, щоб закупити (бо то окремо) відповідні кабелі для з’єднання генераторів з системою і решту необхідного. Як пояснив віцепрезидент Київміськбуду Олександр Іларіонов, щоб запрацювати перед зимою, «обладнання такого класу має бути змонтоване, синхронізоване з мережею і протестоване під навантаженням ще у серпні».
Тобто, те, що зараз Зеленський дістає з кишені як «смачну канхвету «Тузік», вже майже нічим нам не поможе. Зима в нас буде без критичної генерації – бо не встигнуть приєднати до системи. Орієнтовно впораються «ближче до кінця весни».
Зеленському був потрібен шикарний жест. Про технологічні моменти він не думав. А в держуправлінні, на відміну від піару, не може бути сюрпризів.
З іншого боку, є чималий шанс, що нам можна навіть не перейматись, що там купили і коли запустять. А ще Зеленський повозив писками по каналізації киян - причому 856 тисяч виборців «молодих, незаплямованих» відгрібають так само, як і 3 мільйони непричетних мешканців столиці.

For weeks, Trump had been assured by Susie Wiles and his staff that all the polls were wrong, and that, once again, the Blue Wave would only be a ripple, if one even showed up at all. And the DOJ was ready to pounce on it if it did.
Trump, after all, was on the ballot. "Vote like I'm on the ballot,' he said, "Because I am."
He told every rally that. He said it on FOX. He had a 90% approval rate, he said. And $5000 checks for everybody. What could possibly go wrong?

So the East Room was decked out with the finest crystal and china. Staffers thought it would be a fun "cheeky rebuke" to order in platters of finger food from Cheesecake Factory. Just to give a finger to Barack Obama, for his viral joke about Trump’s gaudy renovations to the White House.
EVERYONE showed up in their party clothes. His Staff. His Cabinet. Top GOP politicians. Donors.
But there was no Host or Hostess to greet them. Which was a little odd. The guests mingled among themselves, and waited to be formally welcomed and invited to sample the refreshments.

Trump waited upstairs in his residence, in order to make a grand entrance to a standing ovation with cheers, once the happy results started pouring in.

Finally at 8:00 the first election results came in. But during that entire first hour, not ONE Republican was named. It was only Democrat after Democrat, starting with Jon Ossoff.
Trump never came downstairs. At all.
Marco Rubio was the first to go missing, according to the Daily Mail. Then, one by one, the rest of the party goers slipped out the door.
Only two hours later, an enormous decision was called. Democrats had flipped the House of Representatives to their control. And in most cases, the Democrats won, not by slim majorities, but by double digits.
It was 10:00, and the East Room was empty. The party goers had gone to a nearby Washington bar to drown their sorrows. The Cheesecake Factory food lay untouched on the East Room tables.

And Trump? He was upstairs watching the results on FOX News, and posting angrily on Truth Social.
He wasn't alone. No, Melania wasn't with him. But Natalie Harp was.
The Daily Mail reports that Susie Wiles, his Chief of Staff was upstairs as well. The one who had assured him day after day that Republicans would win.
By 11 pm, Trump stopped posting. “He’s watching Fox News barely uttering a word and paralyzed into silence,” a source close to the president told the Daily Mail.
“It’s very, very dark in the residence,” one senior official said of Trump’s mood. “It’s a dark scene.”
Another source said, “They were delusional right until the very end.”
