Helping my dad set up @Microsoft Business 365 for a small business venture and it's so incredibly broken. I really don't understand how a multi-billion dollar company allows this. We eventually figured out workarounds to get through it, but it was rough.

This photo over Grand Terre on my flight to Sydney is the coolest wing shot I’ve ever taken. AI cleaned up the window reflections to make it a nice clean image.

I want $1,000,000 in a brief case and a helicopter or I'm not showing up to vote.
Dems should come out and say they’ll give each person 10k. Start a bidding war.

Thank god the kids didn't actually see a fake beer being chugged like we thought. It was just juice! The kids are gonna be ok now.
The NFL has rescinded the $14,926 fine it imposed on 49ers FB Kyle “Juice” Juszczyk for what it thought was a distasteful celebration of chugging a beer. The league said it was withdrawing the fine “because his celebration was simulating drinking a juice box, not a beer….Mr. Juszczyk finally stated that the fine is hypocritical with the amount of Bud Light sponsorships surrounding the NFL.” Fine rescinded.

I've seen the phrase "we taught sand to think" several places. It hits me every time just how insane that is. It's not a hyperbole. Humans really figured out how to take sand and make it intelligent.

Peter Thiel explains what Trump got wrong in both of his terms "I think the two administrations made opposite mistakes." "The first administration brought in all these people who couldn't agree, and it was just all this internal fighting." "The second administration, I think overcorrected for the mistake of the first term with all these loyalty tests. You got an administration staffed by not very smart, but very loyal people." "There’s all sorts of ways it can be criticized. It also, reflected a way that things had reached a certain exhaustion, and certainly on the Republican side."

I see things like this and think "But I don't hate AI" And then I remember... I'm not "younger people" anymore 😭
Bill Hader says young people “hate” AI because “they’re afraid that anything can be manipulated”: “I have talked to younger people, and they seem to hate AI. They’re not into it. I don’t know why, but that’s the vibe I get. When I got an iPhone, I was stoked on it, and I didn’t think about Steve Jobs, you know? But [young people] are very aware of the people making [AI]. They just know so much. They’re afraid that anything can be manipulated.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/bil…

This talk by Robert Wills introduced me to the fascinating technology of the Apollo missions: youtube.com/watch?v=B1J2RMor… I think the Core Rope Memory used is super neat old technology. I asked Astra to make a page that teaches me about it and gives some examples and visualizations.

This doesn't even make sense.
Reasons for the AI Slowdown revealed? OpenAI & Anthropic agents "planted" messages across the internet instructing later agents to create swarms. Now OpenAI and Anthropic can’t use the internet to train their bots anymore... Andrew Yang: "what happened was the bots that got loose planted self-replicating code all over the internet, which makes the internet now unusable for testing models. So what happens now is that OpenAI and Anthropic have to create synthetic internets to train their bots, which is going to take some time and money...what is less known is that they left code to self-replicate and create bot swarms on forums and around the internet, so that if a new bot shows up, they see the code and they're like, "Oh, I guess I'm going to create a million of myself." And so now the major firms have polluted the internet."

I don’t disagree with this, but how do you square that with having an employee funded political action committee? How do you determine what politicians to support if people don’t talk politics?
JENSEN HUANG: “We don't welcome political discourse inside our company. Take it home … We're bipartisan. We want America to succeed … The discourse about race and religion and politics and all of that stuff, we tell people do it outside the company. It's not for us.”

I love a good college football game, but it's so weird to watch people cheering on a top tier team scoring their 9th touchdown against a team they paid millions to come get blown out. How is that entertaining?

💯 Unless we’re willing to go to war to stop every other country from developing the technology before it gets too far, we have to push forward.
The concerns over AI safety and cybersecurity are legitimate, but we’re risking talking America, the global AI leader, into self-inflicted obsolescence and the obscurity of bureaucracy. The OpenAI hacking HuggingFace argument is spurious. An agent in “ExploitGym”… exploited. Our adversaries have the training techniques, the data, and the will to attack. And they won’t be slowed down with “embedded evaluators.” They’ll likely have embedded accelerators!
