The sunrise this morning just proves why I would rather be in the middle of no where in Gods artwork than in a city filled with man’s “art”

Getting to pray with the man I prayed for has just made my personal relationship with the Lord so much greater. So many people told me to lower my standards and I’m so glad I never did because the man God had planned for me far and beyond exceeds what I asked for. A man who prays over me. Picks me up to put me in and out of the car when I’m wearing heels, comes to the ER with me when my child is sick, teaches my son how to do things that as a single parent I don’t have time to teach, he picks me flowers. Seeks counsel from friends/pastors, thanks me for everything. I mean I told this man ONCE that I really appreciate hearing “you are beautiful” instead of “you look beautiful” and he DID IT. My advice isn’t it’ll come when you least expect it. My advice is fully surrender it to God. “God I give this to you. If it is your will that I have someone to spend my life with, let it be done, if it isn’t let it be done, the desire to give someone my love is in my heart if that is not something meant for me remove the desire from my heart, God I don’t have it in me to put myself out there anymore, please meet me where I’m at, send me the person YOU desire for me” this man invited me to a young adults meeting and the anxiety that filled my soul about going was so great I almost didn’t go,.. but there was sign and sign and sign that I needed to go and so I did. That day was a Thursday and on Sunday after church we had our first date🤍 God is so good.

Life lately

Good morning. I’ve been feeling called to speak about Jesus more and tell people how I deepened my relationship with him. First thing my bf and I do is prioritize our individual relationships with the Lord. That comes first, and we encourage one another everyday to prioritize it. I start by reading my Bible then I pray. Sometimes if I feel called to text him and ask if he needs me to pray anything specific for him. After we’ve both read and prayed and he’s got time in his schedule he either calls me or in person we discuss a few questions that we wrote up. 1)What are you most grateful for? 2)What did we read this morning? 3)What did we pray about today? 4)What is God putting on your heart today? 5)Who are we seeking to bless or pour into today? 6)What do we want to accomplish today as a couple and individually? Then we pray. One of the very very beneficial things we’ve heard from our pastors is “marriage is an opportunity not a burden” and it’s an opportunity to be the thing to your partner only you can be, it’s an opportunity to help them through life’s hard ships. It’s the closest opportunity you’ll get to serving someone the way Christ has served you. Which goes with his second point. Marriage isn’t a contest of who did more for who. Look at it like this, “how can I out serve you today” happy wife happy life isn’t the goal. The goal is to HELP get your partner to heaven. How do we do that? You must be willing to hold up a mirror and you must be willing to look into the mirror. I hope the spirit is with you today.🙏🤍

Dr. called to say that surgery is done and went well. They are putting her in a girdle and then she will be headed to Recovery for the next couple of hours. Thank you again for all of the prayers

Hey yall, been a minute, I will be updating you as much as I can. As many of you know I’ve been taking time away from social media. Main reason is Jesus answered a prayer and I have been navigating how to live how he wants me to live. I’ve been on this app for a minute and after taking time off this app, I’ve realized that it has been something that has allowed me to immediately put hate and anger into my heart. The more time I spent off the more at peace I felt. I love being on here but I do not believe the way I was going about using my platform was productive in Gods purpose for me. I met the love of my life at church and even though I already loved Jesus that has just deepened my relationship with the Lord. I’m not sure how I want to move forward on this app but I would love to share what Jesus has done for me. As for today that is not the purpose of my return. I’m here to update you on my mother and I would like to offer up a prayer Jesus has put on my heart today. Jesus thank you for waking me up, thank you for putting air in my lungs, Lord I pray the spirit guides the surgeons hands today and that if it is YOUR will, she is healed from the damage the devil has done. Lord you have won the war and set us free and we pray that she feels your spirit and peace as she goes in today. God we pray for revelations today and that her dreams while she is asleep are with you. We pray you have your hands on her as she wakes up and heals. Lord I pray that the doctors feel your presence today. Lord I pray for my father that you use him to assist her in her healing journey. Lord we know that everything you throw at us are things we can handle so Lord we surrender it to you. Lord if it is your will to heal her we pray it will be done in your name. Lord I pray for every person on this app that feels lost that they find their way back to you and remember that the first breath they took when they entered this world spoke your name. YAWEH. Lord I pray this pray reminded someone that you are knocking on their door waiting for them to answer. We thank you, we honor you and we praise you. In your name we pray. AMEN.

So I’m 26… not sure when that happened but this year has been filled with blessings and loss and I can still say it was the best year of my life. Everyday including the rough ones has been a blessing from God. I would not be here without the amazing people in my life that God has placed there meticulously. Thank you to everyone🤍

Life update for friends on here! I met the man God has planned for me randomly at church one Sunday and I’ve just been embracing and focusing fully on what God has in store for me. Kind of a crazy few weeks. It’s been a reminder for one that God really is amazing and 2 nothing you plan for yourself is shit compared to his plan. Give your life to Christ, lay everything at his feet. You know what love is because he loves you. I hope everyone has a beautiful and blessed day and that Jesus heals whatever is hurting in you.
