i keep thinking about when hes a young teen and maybe he misses his old job as a kid... he feels more like a freak trying to assimilate to some kind of civilian life than when he was just being exploited for being a freak.. hes seen the worst of the past present and future

I think it’s fun and cute if mantis actually sort of help inspires some of liquids ideology about rejecting his birth name and his father and leaving a blood trail behind him because that is exactly what mantis does and literally “burns his past away”.. a real baddie 💯

It’s so funny cos I’m old bones rotting in the soil old n I was always familiar with them in mgs1 first all grown but then seeing them as kids in mgsv was crazy cos now when I draw them as adults it feels like Disney kids grown up and gone wild
