Dear Russell Brand: If Tucker Carlson and Andrew Tate are the ones coming to your defense after allegations by four different women, you had really better start worrying.

#EmmettTill was dehumanized, tortured and murdered by white supremacists 68 years ago today. We must never forget Emmett’s life, the brutal way it was ended, the past and present dangers of racism or the courage of his mother, #MamieTillMobley.

We are deeply saddened to learn the cause of death of Olympic medalist and world champion sprinter, Tori Bowie.
Black women die at exceedingly higher rates due to pregnancy-related complications. We face a much higher risk of maternal death due to various reasons including chronic stress and implicit bias from health care providers. There is so much work to be done to properly protect and advocate for Black women's health. We send continued love and condolences to Tori Bowie's family. 📷#BETRemembers #BlackWomen #Mortality

As a child, I was put on a train and sent off by the government to a faraway place we’d never heard of. As a survivor of that policy, I am appalled by what governors in TX and FL are doing now. Politicians back then treated us as political scapegoats, less than human. #NeverAgain
