I’ve stopped viewing my art as a source of income. Monetizing it was putting far too much pressure on me as a creator. I realized I was boxing myself in, making things just because they were «marketable» for a long time. Sure, it worked, and almost all of my pieces are sold out. But it led me straight to burnout. I no longer want to set deadlines for myself or chase the standards set by the market. My art springs from my imagination, and sometimes that source simply needs rest. Trying to force something out of myself just to make a quick sale is a surefire way to end up hating what I do. My presence here and my art are no longer driven by need. It now comes straight from the heart - from a genuine love for the unusual and the creative. Because of this shift, I’ve found so much more joy in creating again. I can pour maximum love and attention into every single detail. My pieces might come out less frequently now, but that’s completely fine. I’m a human being, not a factory. For now, I’m letting things be as they are. I’m in no rush. A tree that grows slowly bears the sweetest fruit. I’m willing to wait and simply create at my own pace and giving this «tree» all my love, and most importantly, giving it freedom and room to breathe.

Creativity in the kitchen is another one of my passions. It’s like a balm to my soul to create something delicious with your own hands, to refine recipes, to take your time shopping for ingredients, selecting the freshest and most fragrant ones. Am I getting old?

Autumn has come to Kazan. Finally! 😍 On days like these, it’s nice to stay at home to draw, or go mushroom picking, or make winter preserves. It’s a very cozy time of year, I love it!
