🚨 Sergey Nazarov just unveiled his vision for the future of global finance at LINK!
And at the CENTER of it all is @chainlink.
He talked about how we are moving to a world where banks, stock markets and DeFi connected in ONE global financial system, with trillions of dollars in assets moving seamlessly across networks.
That's the future $LINK is helping to build.
Chainlink isn't just connecting blockchains anymore. It's positioning itself to connect the ENTIRE financial system!

JPMorgan? BNY? State Street? Fidelity?
BlackRock? 😏

Panda said it perfectly.
I've said it from day one: you don't rewire the global financial system overnight. 🏛️
Chainlink took the patient road. Build the standard first. Earn the trust of the biggest institutions. Let adoption do the talking.
Just this week:
→ Chainlink 24/7 went LIVE
→ Hanwha picked Chainlink + CCIP
→ The Reserve added 92,789 LINK
The strategy is showing up in the results now.
Know what you hold. 🙏

I think a lot of people misunderstood what Sergey said about the $LINK token during his keynote at LINK:NYC.
This post from @ChainLinkGod and rewatching the keynote a few times really help clarify his message.
Sergey stated: "Chainlink is not focused on driving enterprise value or increasing equity. It's about increasing the adoption and usefulness of the Chainlink network as an impartial global infrastructure, and the $LINK token plays a critical role in that."
Many interpreted this as Chainlink prioritizing adoption over driving value to the token. But that’s not what he said.
He explained that the $LINK token is critical to the network, and as network usage scales, the utility and importance of $LINK will scale with it.
The token was never meant to represent equity in Chainlink Labs. It’s a commodity with a crucial role in the ecosystem.
He even reinforced this by saying: "You will see more and more cases where TradFi users acquire the token to use the system properly."
➡️This directly implies that the network is specifically designed around the utility of the $LINK token.
Chainlink spent years building a secure, reliable network. Now, they are shifting focus toward building end-to-end solutions to drive revenue and expand the network, a growth that goes hand-in-hand with increased $LINK usage.
At Link:NYC, @SergeyNazarov covers how the adoption of Chainlink, including its new end-to-end solutions, is set to generate increasing revenue
This value is cycled back into the network through the Reserve (on-market LINK buybacks) to ensure network security and growth long term
Sergey touches on how $LINK plays a critical role in the network, being used to align NOPs, contribute to security via staking, and acquired by TradFi users to pay for services
Sergey emphasized that increasing Chainlink adoption is *not* about maximizing any enterprise value or driving value to any equity, but that the LINK token is at the center of the network

Comparison: A single typical team unlock is roughly 4–8× larger in token amount than the hacker’s entire LINK dump. The portion of one unlock that lands on Binance is often 5–7× the hacker’s volume.
And yet there is no corrosponding price impact from the team unlocks 🙃

A MASSIVE TOKENIZATION WAVE IS COMING TO CRYPTO.
9 days ago, we named real world asset tokenization as one of the biggest narratives of this cycle in this thread.
The signs are already here.
• DTCC, the system behind US stock settlement, now lets banks turn stocks, ETFs and Treasuries into blockchain tokens. JPMorgan, Bank of America, Citi, Morgan Stanley and Fidelity are among the first firms using it.
• Janus Henderson, a $500 billion asset manager, launched the first licensed tokenized fund tracking the Nasdaq-100.
• Aviva Investors put £50 million (about $66.7 million) into a tokenized version of its £22 billion money market fund on the XRP Ledger.
• Hong Kong approved 24/7 trading of tokenized funds for retail investors for the first time.
• Ondo brought tokenized Apple, Meta, Tesla and Google shares to Robinhood Chain.
• Securitize, one of the biggest tokenization firms, expanded to the Stellar blockchain.
• The owner of the New York Stock Exchange is planning a regulated US market for 24/7 perpetual futures built on Hyperliquid.
All of this happened in just 9 days.

Chainlink keeps solving the most critical problems to bringing tens of trillions onchain.
Now, through their new solution CustodySync, they are allowing institutions to leverage onchain lending protocols without their assets ever having to leave their custody providers.
If you know institutions, most of the time they are requird by law to have their assets held at a qualified custodian. However, this comes in conflict with having to deposit them in a DeFi lending protocol as collateral.
Now with Chainlink, key activities can be coordinated (essentially automated in a trust-minimized way) between the custodian and the lending protocol, such as collateral posting and liquidations.
This once again shows how Chainlink is using its platform to provide an end-to-end solution, providing the data, cross-chain, proof of reserve, and of course orchestration of the entire workflow in perpetuity.
This is what institutional capital needs to come onchain in a major way.
$LINK it all.
Introducing Chainlink CustodySync, a new solution that lets qualified custodians give their institutional clients access to DeFi lending markets, all while assets remain securely in custody.
With @Anchorage as the official launch partner, together we’re establishing a new standard for institutional DeFi.
CustodySync keeps custody and lending systems in sync across the full lifecycle of a loan:
→ For custodians: faster time to market and lower operational overhead, with custodian-managed controls
→ For lending markets: independent, verifiable data and a consistent risk framework
→ For institutions: passive capital becomes productive capital
More than $80 billion sits in DeFi lending markets. Meanwhile, the roughly $700 billion in digital assets under custody is less than 0.5% of all $250 trillion in traditional assets under custody. The opportunity to connect traditional institutional capital to onchain finance remains vast.
Large institutions have lacked a secure way of accessing these markets. Regulations require many of them to keep their digital assets with a qualified custodian, a firm that meets specific requirements for holding assets on behalf of clients, and custody systems were never built for DeFi. Even when custody and lending systems are connected, inconsistent loan valuations can trigger premature liquidation or delayed liquidations, exposing borrowers and lenders to significant financial risk.
@Anchorage, home to the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the U.S., is the first qualified custodian to adopt CustodySync, connecting its institutional clients to DeFi lending markets while their assets remain in regulated custody.
Institutional capital no longer has to choose between the security of custody and the liquidity of DeFi.
With Chainlink, it gets both.
